As for the soviets telling their people I heard that from somone cant find any sources, There is no pay off on the moon? Moon is filled with Helium 3 which can be a new fuel source to power the earth. Helium 3 runs at $2,000/liter so definitely there is a big pay off going to the moon. I feel its strange that conspirators say people blindly believe the moon landings happened, when there is proof beyond rational doubt that we went there. and they comment on 60s technology not being enough to get us there when we didn’t have the means to realistically fake it have you seen special effects from the 60s they didn’t have the means to make it believable. also a big argument is the reflectors left behind, the moon although having some weak reflective properties doesn’t have the strength to reflect the kind of lasers shot at it. anyone with independent thought and a non buy-est attitude when researching can find proof that we went…. a lot of proof and on the side of conspirators you find a lot of rumour and out of context quotes. to sum up this ridiculously long comment anybody doubting the moon landing go out looking for proof that we did go there instead of more so called proof that we didn’t, when i started researching i believed we did go there so i looked at all the conspiracy books, films, websites and chat rooms i could find. if you look properly there will be no doubt. Crikey: It took Apollo only about an hour to pass through the worst part of the radiation belts – once on the outbound trip and once again on the return trip. The total radiation dose received by the astronauts was about one rem. A person will experience radiation sickness with a dose of 100-200 rem, and death with a dose of 300+ rem. Clearly the doses received fall well below anything that could be considered a significant risk. Despite claims that “lead shielding meters thick would have been needed”, NASA found it unnecessary to provide any special radiation shielding.
The hoax advocates also make the mistake of limiting themselves to two-dimensional thinking. The Van Allen Radiation Belts consist of a doughnut-shaped region centered on Earth’s magnetic equator. The translunar trajectories followed by the Apollo spacecraft were typically inclined about 30 degrees to Earth’s equator, therefore Apollo bypassed all but the edges of the radiation belts, greatly reducing the exposure.

I’ve been researching this for a while now. When I first heard of the concept they were faked I thought it was bullshit, but I looked into it, researched it, hell I’ve even spoken to a few serious academics that believe it too (honestly!), so I was very swayed.
However in the end I grew a fucking brain and after journeying for dawdling a while down the alleyway of conspiracy and it’s sidestreets of vacuous crap, I used simple logic and reasoning to reassess all the available evidence and reach my destination of the truth. They happened people, get over it.
Aside from that, I think theres a bigger problem here, which is this: I really couldn’t give a fuck anyway. At the end of the day we have so many problems on this planet, I study conflict resolution and my heart breaks whenever I meet a hard-working, extremely intelligent individual who would rather spend the majority of their time getting to the bottom of this mystery instead of considering how to substantially improve life for ourselves and our planet. Its just a fucking rock. I don’t care if we went or not, at least not whilst our own ones getting FUBAR’d.

People need to wake up, it is impossible to land on the moon. Doesn’t matter if it was in the 60′s or today, it defies the laws of physics and cannot be done ever.
The reason for this is, as everyone knows, is the moon is made of cheese. If you did try to land on it you would melt the cheese and become trapped in the sticky goo. NASA and the Russians both realised this and agreed to perpetuate the lie so as to make everyone feel good.
The real question that remains to be answered is, what kind of cheese is it made of?
