Think about this: to date, only three countries have been able to put a man merely in Earth orbit – the United States, Russia, and China. That speaks to how difficult it is just to get into orbit. Next, consider how far away the moon is from the Earth: 240,000 miles. Since the alleged moon landings, no country even claims to have gone more than 400 miles from Earth and that was in the Space Shuttle. The International Space Station orbits at 200 miles above Earth. There is a big difference between 240,000 miles and 400 miles. Why can’t anyone make it more than 400 miles from Earth today if we could make a 480,000 mile round trip in 1969?

NASA further asserts that three men were loaded into a rocket, flew 240,000 miles to the moon and then achieved lunar orbit. They say the spacecraft separated and two astronauts flew 60 miles to the surface of the moon, in a vacuum and 1/6 Earth gravity. They then hung out on the moon for up to three days in 250 degree heat, hit golf balls, rode a moon buggy — but what powered their life support and equipment? They say BATTERIES.

They then supposedly blasted off the surface of the moon, docked with the third man going around the moon at over 4000 miles per hour, and made it 240,000 miles back to Earth. They re-entered Earth’s atmosphere going 25,000 mph, but parachutes assured a safe landing in the ocean.

To any non crazy people out there. Check out google earth then go to the moon. They have it all 3d mapped. You can look at original photos from the moon landings and then close the picture and the 3d map of the area matches perfectly. Really well done and quite interesting.

Also you can actually see evidence of human action on the moon. It was taken a few years back with the LRO. Info and some pics on wikipedia.

the laser mirror on the moon does not prove for a second that there were people on the moon. i mean, does it!? am i missing something here?? how does a laser mirror prove anything, help?

also, after reading every single comment (198) i notice that not many of you had the patience to finish the movie, because NOBODY has mentioned the footage that Sibrel received in the mail, PROVING(?) the forged photographs &NOBODY has mentioned how it is possible for the film in the hasselbladt cameras, (or their television cameras) to have survived the radiation. from what i “know”, none of the photographs should have turned out at all.

Could someone please address and try and explain to me about the footage of the astronauts clearly forging the photo of the earth? and why none of the film was washed out by radiation?

also, could you please explain to me why in pictures of the earth from space, whole continents are obstructed by clouds like 6,000 miles long??? those photos (you’ve all seen them, i don’t need to post them) all seem to me to be taken out of a circle porthole window, in orbit.

Also, I would like to point out the part of the movie where Sibrel screams something like: saying man has walked on the moon is a satanic lie! <<<When i think about it like this, and I look up at the moon i think, by god. he's right. what a schizophrenic, satanic lie. there's no way we've been up there. the hubris!!!!

genuinely amused by the comments here. some of you are real rockstars. but most of you admit to not having the patience to get through the first 20 minutes. people people on the web you disappoint every time….

The mirrors on the moon are pretty strong evidence. They were placed there to help measure exact distance. It is from these measurements we have been able to verify that the moon is slowly moving away from us. The measurements were first taken immediately after the moon landing. The only other way they could get there would be through an automated placement.
Their locations have to be incredibly precise and measured, they’re pretty small.

If you are making an argument that we did not have the technology to put a man on the moon it’s hard to explain the mirrors by saying an even more complicated and advanced process was used.

Just jotting down points as I watch.
-Clinton never says he puts stock in moon landing conspiracies. The quote from the book is about how you can’t believe everything you see on tv.
-The reason we don’t send things more than a few hundred miles from earth is simple, there’s nothing there.
-only 3 countries have put men into space, not because its so hard but because a cost/ benefit analysis doesn’t justify it.
-They were only in the belts for about 4 hours- the next line in van allen’s article says ‘unless some practical means can be found to shield space-travelers against the effects of radiation’ this was done, astronauts were shielded with aluminium plating.
-The effects on the eye of radiation actually support the moonlanding because many of these astronauts developed related cataracts later in life.
-Countries are not too ‘stingy and incompetent’ to send people or animals past the belts.. there is just no clear reason to. Automated ships pose no threat to life and are cheaper.
-The lander’s cooling system isn’t explained adequately here and it is simply stated there is no way to cool down the lander. The cooling system is well documented, it worked by expelling coolant vapour and with it the heat from the lander. Time was limited by the amount of coolant and the power to pump it.
-docking at 4000 miles an hour isn’t that impressive when there is no atmosphere, it only matters how fast they are going in relation to eachother.
-I fail to see how sending a man to the moon would impact anyones plans to bomb the US from space. US had already sent a man around the world in orbit too so they had similar capabilities going to the moon offers no military advantage.
-More stuff about why havn’t we gone back to the moon…there’s nothing there!, why would we? the idea of further trips are controversial. A base on the moon has been proposed primarily to serve as a launch pad to explore further out into space. The feasibility is questionable though.
-Braun’s book was published in 53, it’s calculations are simply out of date and could not account for technological advances 15 years later.
-Once you break through earths gravitational pull (which we can clearly do) the amount of fuel needed is negligible by comparison.
-Implying that NASA committed murder to discourage astronauts from sharing the truth is serious…and done so with absolutely no evidence.
    -Harassing old men isn’t cool.
-..and the rest is just reassertions and incredulity for a conclusion.

I’d like to add one more thing to what you said (all of which I agree with), which is that if they hadn’t actually landed on the moon, then there would have been no possible way for them to have placed the mirrors on its surface; mirrors which we know use to accurately measure the distance between the Earth and the Moon by sending a laser beam up, reflecting it off the mirrors, and then receiving/detecting its return it back here on Earth and measuring the time it took for the round trip.  This would be impossible had they never gone, and it is done all the time from Earth-based observatories.

Here’s the main reason we did in fact land on the moon. The Soviet Union and their allies hated the fact that the US made it to the moon first. It was a PR nightmare for them just like it was a PR victory for the US. They were, of course, tracking the Apollo spacecrafts the whole way, because, why not? It’s easy enough to do. And you better believe, if we didn’t really go, they would be the first the let the world know it was a lie.

Also, we have hundreds of pounds of moonrocks that the US brought back, distributed to countries and scientists all over the world. England, France, Russia, Japan, China, Australia, India, etc… and those scientists, the leading people in their field, would tell right away if they were fake rocks. They confirm that they are real.

Also, to be quite honest, since there were over 400,000 people involved in the design, development, and execution of the Apollo program, it would have been easier to just go there for real, rather than keep 400,000 people quiet for 40 years. The idea that 400,000 people (regular people, mostly civilians, not some ‘secret government agency’) are THAT committed to such a grandiose lie for 40 years is so ridiculous, that if you believe that, after hearing the facts I just told you, you fit the textbook definition of ‘paranoid’ and need to be put in an institution. Seriously.

How exactly would the Russian have proven it if the States didn’t land on the moon? With the internet? Or would they have published an article in the New York Times?

Even if they knew it was a hoax, and had the science to prove it, nobody would have believed them anyway. They would have looked foolish…

I’m not saying whether the moon landing happened or not, put that PR victory logic makes no sense

Now you are just assuming that Russians don’t ever leave Russia. Believe it or not, they live all over the world! AND, strange as it seems, the speak those languages too!

You know, they might have put an article in the New York times if the need arised. But I don;t think they would have needed to.  A country that big which is highly militerialised… (yes, with an “s” not a “z” for I am from New Zealand.) highly militerialised like america which, no offence… but I am assuming you are from. They had power too.

I’ll try to address the issues you raised.

About the moon rocks. Not true, one of the moon rocks was made of petrified wood,  also found to be of same minerals as earth [rightfully so] and to contain some trace elements of water.

They kept the N-bomb secret. Some people former nasa employees have said it was faked sure they might be lying but atleast a few have said it on record.

Each and every item could of been faked. There is zero concrete proof. Like you know the laser reflectors? That many point to as proof, well the russians put them on the moon as well. The fact that not a single astronaut died is amazing when considering how dangerous space is. One tiny rock traveling through space could easily kill astronaut just because of sheer speed, along with numerous other things.

The petrified wood rock didn’t come directly from Nasa and yes moon rocks are made of much of the same materials as earth, this is because how how the moon likely formed from the impact of a smaller planet with earth in it’s early histroy.
The laser reflectors have been there in use since the first mission.

If you’re incredulous enough then any even that ever happened ‘could’ of been faked. You’ve got it backwards, there is no evidence that it was faked.

Also please provide some kind of reference for your statement that nasa employees are on record saying it was faked. To my knowledge only one ever made a comment saying it could have been and he had no involvement in the moon program at all.

Mate, a few things to keep in mind:

      - the motif: to win the PR war against Russia and to gain billions of funding for rocket research (think long range missiles) for a decade or more

      - with the exception of the astronauts very few people would have needed to know about a possible fraud (similar to  911).
      - unmanned moon landings prior or after Appollo 11 could have taken samples and left mirrors there
      -  Brown’s expedition to the Antarctic could have yielded him meteorites
      - Kubriks wife saying Nasa approached him to make a movie and the stage and setup and timing of his 2010 was a convenient coincidence.
      - the astronauts behaviour was odd when approached to swear by god…
      - Ford was sued for stealing the technology of an intermittent wind screenwiper years after the moonlanding – was Ford light years behind NASA?
      - why would anyone really go to the moon when all that is needed is the video footage and perhaps some moon rock.

the moon rock may be the strongest piece of evidence for a moonlanding – but I wonder if anyone could say for sure what moonrock would look like if nobody has ever seen one. Modifying a meteorite may be easier than flying to the moon…

I am not saying we should not believe it. But we should be critical. After all the US government has a decade long history of deception – read Noam Chomsky or the officially admitted conspiracies like Watergate, Golf of Tonkin etc… and an enormous motif.

I should say I haven’t seen this movie but other footage and read a lot..

What a bunch of retarded comments! Of course no country was ever able to send people to the Moon. It was a pure propaganda for people to think they are actually powerful and we’re ‘so advanced’.. It’s just mainly feeding the ego of American society that government really has power and wohooa they can make us go to the Moon and maybe fight the aliens.. yeah, great – in 1969 they could pull that off, but not anymore. Any everyone wonders why.. Sick what a good picture and bunch of paid off people can do.

A large majority of the 209,000,00 US population was duped in 1969. It’s evident that 42 years later, the myth lives on in a large majority of the 309,000,000 people.

It’s typical that a moon-hoax-theorist has no well-rounded understanding of the core of the issue, that is to say, the physics relevant to spaceflight. Did anyone walk on the Moon? I don’t know, since I haven’t been there. But I do know for a firm fact that it’s possible to get to the Moon, and that it was possible and plausible in the 1960s. Listen to the narrator’s voice: it’s some kid who thinks we were living in caves and wearing bison skins back then. To those in the know there’s no big mystery to getting to the Moon. The core physics has been known literally for centuries. As of the mid-20th-Century it became purely an engineering problem, and all it takes is to throw enough money at it.

Does anyone have the original Apollo 11 landing and telementry tapes?

Oh I forgot, NASA has told the public that the agency lost and taped over them.

I’ll wait until the original “new” versions come out of the special effects and processing center located in Hollywood, California which NASA commissioned to recreate the “original” landing.

So by 2020 you will be able to hear NASA officials telling school kids, “you can see from these new enhanced original films we recreated after losing the originals that clearly this is proof we went to the moon”.

Still waiting to know how they could have faked images from the moon that line up exactly with the 3d mapping we now have of the lunar surface. (the topography of the moon isn’t only supplied buy the USA so you can just say the data is faked)

So many of the points the hoax theorist bring up as easily disproved. The old “why are there no stars in the pics”, “why do shadows look on different angles” show that these people fail to understand even basic photography. That is just the start of it.

Why the cash incentive from the American military for research and development of inter-planentary travel? If they already have the leg up on the competition? Why recruit the public sector? This would creating the possibility of losing ground to others who could buy the info?
Unless you don’t have the info. In which case the craft of stealing from the poor for their ideas for pennies on the dollar has become a vicious tactic and policy in the Tech world. Corporations love to capture ideas from young and eager yet naive developers and engineers and turn them into “intellectual property” of the Corporation and believe me the US military is a corporation. Regardless of the goal ever being reached the amount of patents captured in the process would account for trillions in profits for a military corporation whose sole role is to impact the violence it takes to secure the reality of the current regimes persona.     So I asked why does the military need to offer up a cash reward for things………..?Profit and profit alone. If they had truly landed on the moon and had the info they now wish to acquire from the public. Why would you risk the exposure to competition for the trillions of dollars these new technologies would create?
So we have the math to find locations by shadows, moon phases and such. At the time of the alleged landing did we not have photos that looked back on the earth from a distance measurable by said photos? Do they Match up with a closure orbit or a further one based on comparisons with modern photos. Did they have the capabilities to “photo shop” that into pics of the earth from space. When did the first photos of earth taken and when were they released to the public. How about pics of the orbiting of the moon that match the orbiting of the earth pics. You would think the surely have photos of both the moon and the earth. I mean you going to the fucking moon you had better take a lot of photos. I mean for collecting info the weight of photos is not of concern so the more the better in comparison to collecting rocks with physical demands of transport.
Batteries? to power all the film equipment? Really? Battery technology is restricted by physics and the amount of electrons we can squeeze onto a plate. We are now reaching the limits with only now using elements like Lithium batteries and some other exotics. None of which were available at the time. So To have the Power needed to operate the whole outfit would have taken a battery pack the size of a Railway car.  The size of the computer used for the event has been condensed into hand held size. And the batteries to power the technology would be in comparison.

    Well put Marky Mark

In the end, no amount of money, murder, technology or man power could keep 400,000 people from telling the truth. Especially not rocket scientists. I would assume that devoting your life to science, locking yourself up in a lab, crunching numbers and never getting laid…. ever, unless of course it was in a dream you had one time when you fell asleep on top of your equations, would not be a path taken by people who weren’t genuinely interested in furthering human knowledge and uncovering the mysteries of the Universe.

If the moon landing was false that would mean the majority of these rocket scientists were just in it for the money and the babes.

BUT  I will say that the interview that took place 48 seconds in to part 2 raised my eyebrows. That man really did seem to be lying. I’m not sure about what.. but he looked like me when I tell lies.

Also, as mentioned in other comments the sheer mass of moon rocks brought back and distributed around the world prove the missions did happen.
As I mentioned earlier about the rocket scientists and their dedication to their field, same goes for geologists. People who spend their 40 hour work week looking at rocks, rocks and more rocks wouldn’t really be that easy to fool.
