They then supposedly blasted off the surface of the moon, docked with the third man going around the moon at over 4000 miles per hour, and made it 240,000 miles back to Earth. They re-entered Earth’s atmosphere going 25,000 mph, but parachutes assured a safe landing in the ocean.

LRO has taken very nice images of the moon and you can clearly see the markings of the lunar activities that took place. Why the hell are you even discussing this? There is no discussion since you have been and always will be proven wrong. I don’t know enough about physics and space but It doesn’t make sense to believe something happened just because a bunch of people said so. Also, the documentary makes some pretty great arguments against it happening. It also makes no sense for you to take pride in an accomplishment that you had no part in, even though you are a part of the human race. So unless you have enough knowledge on all of the subjects that would go into proving the moon landing, I would say that your comment really has no point other than to add to the many comments just saying that it’s stupid to say that it might not have happened.

For all the youngsters out there that don’t believe there was moon landings (conspiracy) my advice is to concentrate on the assassination of JFK and the events of 9 11. Since we haven’t returned to the moon in 40 years, it is easy to understand why the youth don’t believe it happened. For the record, if mankind wanted to return to the moon, it would take a 10 year concerted effort like it did last time because we gave up all the knowledge to concentrate on the space shuttle program. With that said, we could probably successfully send people to Mars, but the effort would be folly, at least until we can go back and forth to the moon as easily as we fly across the ocean. Besides, there are many things the moon has that we need (helium for example) and if there was any problems, there is a chance for survival and rescue, none of which is at all possible on a Mars Journey.

It amazes me that there are people who are willing to put in the time and effort to make documentaries attempting to cast doubt on it, but they are not willing to read a few junior-high level science articles that would clear up the doubts they have. My guess is that whoever doesn’t believe in the moon landing also believes that JFK wasn’t assassinated by Lee Oswald, our government was responsible for 9/11, and Osama Bin Laden is still alive. I haven’t seen this movie,nor do i intend to watch it as it is old worn out history. I was ten years old in 1969 and watched all this on the tube with my family , as did the rest of America/World. What i can not justify looking back a life time later is the colossal waste of money it took from the American tax payer to do it. That same money could have been spent here on earth ,and have been better spent in many more ways then for 200Lbs of “moon rock”.I could have gone out into the Arizona desert and gotten that for free, or a half tank of gas.It very much sadins me when i think of the waste that this country drops.We the people,and of the world do not need 14 aircraft carriers. In the end, no amount of money, murder, technology or man power could keep 400,000 people from telling the truth. Especially not rocket scientists. I would assume that devoting your life to science, locking yourself up in a lab, crunching numbers and never getting laid…. ever, unless of course it was in a dream you had one time when you fell asleep on top of your equations, would not be a path taken by people who weren’t genuinely interested in furthering human knowledge and uncovering the mysteries of the Universe.
If the moon landing was false that would mean the majority of these rocket scientists were just in it for the money and the babes.
BUT I will say that the interview that took place 48 seconds in to part 2 raised my eyebrows. That man really did seem to be lying. I’m not sure about what.. but he looked like me when I tell lies.
Also, as mentioned in other comments the sheer mass of moon rocks brought back and distributed around the world prove the missions did happen.
As I mentioned earlier about the rocket scientists and their dedication to their field, same goes for geologists. People who spend their 40 hour work week looking at rocks, rocks and more rocks wouldn’t really be that easy to fool.
