Charles Manson Superstar (1989)

In the late 60s, Charles Manson convinced a group of “followers” to move in to the California desert to train for the apocalypse. They eventually committed on of the most horrific string of serial murders in modern times. Considered to be one of the definitive documentaries about Manson and his infamous “family,” CHARLES MANSON SUPERSTAR tells the killer’s story with archival news footage, police photos, and an uncensored interview with Manson himself.

  1. Rest in Hell Charlie.

  2. For now I couldn’t bring myself to watch the whole thing!

    -I may have seen the first 20 / 30 minutes and then looked on how the interiews go on later!
    Psychopaths and their manipulative power sure can be a very interesting matter and there might be some good things said in this documentary.

    –> But watching the interviews with Mansion and his way of actng ..ehhhh – he just appears to be .. ..–some drunken idiot– (sorry!)

    –> thats just what comes to my mind first by watching him. which makes me wonder how anyone could be following this guy!
    (-I mean his way of acting is the one of an ..alcoholic)

    –> It may be because of the times back then and that young people are easier manipulated;
    but he doesn’t appear that fascinating to me!

    –> Was this also his behavior as the leader of his “family”; or was he different at that time?!

    This is just my first impression on this docu and I might watch the whole thing at a later time,

    I just thought that there are many people who could relate and argue to this comment

  7. Thats just weird, does the king of pop Michael Jackson own the copyright  for this ?  And the Law Firm Katton Muchin Rosenman who act on behalf of Michael Jacksons estate have had it removed ?  Why would Michael Jackson own the copyright for this ?

  8. This man is a menace, and clinically insane. He knew how to hypnotize his followers to make them believe he was the son of God.
