He simply sucks as a host. There is another host who I don't know the name of that has driven me insane after 15 seconds because his delivery sounds like a breathy pedophile. No emotion and horribly boring. I swear I've seen shows where the pedophile criminal had that particular style of speech. It sounds like he is talking around a penis.I'll sacrifice viewing a video if the people talking are an annoyance. There are plenty of awesome documentaries to watch without having to deal with your skin crawling and seriously wanting to use a double-bit ax to kill the narrator. Most film folks can verify that if sound is bad, it will single handedly ruin a film. It applies to Tv and radio, too. Agreed. He simply sucks as a host.
