Finger of God

Hundreds raised from the dead. Manna appearing in the Pentagon. Gemstones falling from the sky. Teenagers healing perfect strangers on the street.

This isn’t old time religion. This is a new beginning. A spiritual revolution. This is the Finger of God. Prepare to go on a dizzying journey around the world – from the streets of Northern California to the mud huts of Africa.

From the underground church in China to the Gypsies in Eastern Europe – you will be challenged and encouraged by the extraordinary things God is doing in our world today.

Born out of filmmaker Darren Wilson’s personal journey of two years and hundreds of hours of footage, Finger of God will show you a world you never knew existed. A world of hope and courage. A world where God’s fingerprints are found in the unlikeliest of places.

  1. I haven’t watched the documentary yet so have no opinion on anything in it. What I do have a comment on are all of the comments posted about things being unscientific or insulting to intelligence. If you require a rational, scientific explanation for anything faith related, you are going to be disappointed, because rationality and science is not what faith is about. Those are constructs of the human thought process. God is super natural and expecting Him to operate by our standards of reason is vain and backward. You either choose to believe or you don’t. Sometimes things happen that can’t be wrapped up in a nice explanation human minds can comprehend.

  2. when i first got to watch this documentary i had ben saved approx 11-12 yrs.i believed im
GOD i prayed and i attended church someof the time.
after i watched this video i for the 1st time i had missed the very most important apart. which is the awesome glory and super nature powers of the holy spirit.not to put any one down but alot of the reason alot of christians never really advance alot is because they want to reason out everything scientifically.which will create a huge problem when it comes to the FATHER SON AND HOLY GHOHT.because ther is nothing scientific about them they are spirits this is where the simple mind child like belief comes in .and i can tell u once the holy spirit gets in you hit gives u a much more direct kine to GOD. this movie has touched my soul more then any thing else i hav watchd in my intire life. thankyou

  3. I can’t vouch for any of the claims of this video, but I can attest to witnessing at least 1 genuine miracle and can offer my experiences with the holy spirit… Love is the binding force behind the whole shebang. More love and nothing else, is all there is. In the channel we’re tuned to, which we distinguish as reality, those statements seem unlikely and at odds with the reality of suffering, to most people. Most people are authority driven sheep who discount their own intuition and observations over a make-believe zietgeist inducing talking head. that is: most people in the 1st world are school educated(more like prison education than a genuine education such as Abraham Lincoln’s, for example.) Most people absorb advertisements and pathetic game shows devoted to showcasing schadenfreude and become so involved they yell at loved ones and dismiss conversation to remain saturated in that fantasy matrix of bullshit and manipulative subliminal programming. The best possible outcome is utter devotion to, essentially, nothing more than a shiny thing. A shiny thing which does to nearly everything that is displayed on the screen, some hurtful distortion and purposeful dissemination of an overwhelmingly singular message that basically amounts to the unconsious mind being programmed to dissasociate from reality and worse. TV, specifically and intentionally, is being utilized for the dissolution of family and obviously funnels many more negative things directly to the mind of the target. If you watch 10+ hours of mainstream media per week and think you have the slightest crumb of a clue, you are an idiot, plain and simple. a total fucking idiot who honestly can’t discern for yourself whether anything you see is actual or factual unless your familiar masters of programming tell you it’s okay and draw your conclusion for you. Because you are such a pitiful excuse for a sentient being that you’ve adopted a false reality in a box as your intillectual poison/security blanket, I don’t think another person can help you. Only you can save yourself in that matter, but you are too absorbed to not be offended by a post like this, so you’ll quit reading this and spend 10min going through 1k channels of garbage instead…neophytic waste of oxygen, maybe. loathsome but unwitting agent for the apogee of fubar, DEFINITELY.

The Holy Spirit appears to me as an orb and the first time I saw it, I thought it was a ghost, and I bowed up at it. It proceded to charge strait towards me and hit my chest and went straight up through the cieling. It felt like a washboard, with ridges, that is…Before long it started flying into me and utilizing my rh-neg underpinnings to channel itself in another location, perhaps just prior, during or something else, I don’t know, exactly, but like a video presentation where I control the speed and other parameters, it will show me currently active serial killers(2 child killers, from 2 different parts of the state, so far.) Yesterday, for instance, I proposed to my girl and she accepted and shortly thereafter it came through and totally killed the mood, but I only glimpsed 3 secs of vid(showing me the lifeless body of a girl it previously showed me in an alive state the day before…later that night it showed me the man stuffing the girl in a tube in a wooded area then told me 3weeks 12 hours, and flew through the wall.

So lemme just say that is is always in a drastic hurry and I always sense that I’m just one stop of many tasks it undertakes all day and night…It’s not twidling it’s thumbs, at any rate, and identifies itself a companion to christ. The HS gets around, you can bet the farm on that and sleep easy…just my $1.05, but true, regardless of what anybody skeptical may erroneously conclude, true…actual…factual… I can’t intillectually explain it, but the same can be said of a swiss clock, and you wouldn’t hesitate to assume one to be reliable.

  4. The most incredible thing about this doco is that there are so many people in our world who believe it! No matter what evidence is ever presented or refuted, anywhere from 50 to 75 percent of people on our planet will always be in a permanent state of self delusion, and believe in a god. There really is no hope for our species!

  5. It was Ricky Gervais who asked, “If god is real, why would he make me an atheist?” Of course, believers won’t see the point and will blame Ricky, not the lack of a god.

This miracle stuff was also put to shame by Richard Dawkins, I think, who asked after seeing all of the crutches that were left behind at Lourdes, “Where are all the artificial limbs?”

Having said all that, I think I will watch to see what people are believing these days. What ever happened to good, old Zeus? Now there was a god (statue) you could look up to!

  6. Fantastic film. Well put together and informative. Excellent work!

  7. Somebody’s having a laugh.

  8. This is truly an insult to the viewers’ intelligence. There’s nothing whatsoever to substantiate these so-called ‘miracles’ (blatant hucksterism). In this fractured economy wherein ordinary Americans are losing their homes to foreclosure & are, in many cases, living in tents, you’d think that these ‘priceless’ divine 50 carat gems would manifest to those who could really use the cash boost; either that or a few buckets of gold dust…While people are busy benefiting from 3rd rate divine dentistry (hip hop golden grill teeth? Really? Is that the best the holy honcho can do?) Why not just zap in a brand new real tooth?

This type of con artistry really infuriates me. Especially since the seemingly normal, credible-looking recipients of these golden teeth are in on the scam! Those who put children up to this nonsense are especially ethically challenged. While I won’t label the kids as charlatans (they might actually believe that they’re performing divine healing-since some unscrupulous adult conned them too) but I wonder how they’ll feel when grandma has a heart attack, they lay on their hands & no magic faerie dust appears & grandma dies. Will they fear that god has abandoned them? Will they feel tormented with guilt that, perhaps, they’ve become so sinful that god has turned his divine back on them? Will they feel like failures? It is a horrible thing to mislead & use children in this manner.

    • What a small mind you have. You struggle to comprehend the truth that this documentary highlights. I’ve experienced it myself! but until you have youself you shall continue to criticize and mock the most important thing we have that is testomony of how God is moving in peoples lives which is individual personal experience. May you have yours soon, -God does bless!

  9. Thank ‘god’ for San Francisco(coasts). This thinking is holding back us back as humans.Religion poisons everything. Delusional, scary. Gonna go shower.

  11. I found this documentary quite offensive and an actually mockery of God! Please tell me what honor and glory God recieves from people having gold teeth! God is interested in the souls of men, not their material prosperity. How shallow to look for silly signs such as gold teeth, gems and manna to believe in God, instead of looking to His Word and believing by faith. Then again, we are a generation looking for signs (just as the Pharisees) and wonders, instead of looking to Jesus Himself.

  12. I don’t know about anyone else, but if any or all of it is true, this is a God I don’t know…BUT I really, really want to know. The question I’ve been asking myself as well as praying about is, “Have I let my lack of experience dictate my belief…or lack thereof?” If I haven’t experienced it, does that mean it doesn’t happen? If this film has motivivated me to seek MORE  of God…more of an interactive God, more of a God who also desires relationship with me, More of a God who’s love I’ve been blind to, then I’m very thankful to have seen this film. Maybe the jokes on me, but it’s certainly had a profound affect on my relationship with God…simply because I stopped expecting. Now, I pray expecting….from a GOD who loves me. Ultimately, that’s the message!! GOD loves interactively and desires relationship with us…so much so HE died and went to hell for us…and then rose again!!

So, no one has a problem believing that????

IF there is more, I want to find out rather than put my “auto-disclaimer” on it.

    • “The acid test for identifying a prophet of God is recorded by Moses in Deuteronomy 18:21-22. According to this Bible passage (and others), God’s prophets, as distinct from Satan’s spokesmen, are 100 percent accurate in their predictions. There is no room for error.” https://reasons.org/explore/publications/tnrtb/read/tnrtb/2003/08/22/fulfilled-prophecy-evidence-for-the-reliability-of-the-bible

When I first was on the “search” I was oft drawn to evidence based proof, and I did find that recognizing the authority and authenticity of God could be found within bible prophecy.
Now that I have matured, I find scripture is the truth, and through God’s word I was given insight and confirmation of faith.
Seek out like minded individuals, explore various churches (KNOW YOUR SCRIPTURE AS TO AVOID DECEPTION) and join a study group. This will set you on a path of authentic discovery.
Saying that, I do truly enjoy Stephen Meyer, an advocate of intelligent design theory. There are many documentaries that include his work, and he has also made some pretty great teaching materials that are the farthest thing from boring in my humble opinion.

Discernment is the ability to sort fact from fiction, truth from deception. The Holy Spirit is the guide- and if you ask for the guidance of the spirit, you will be led to truth that will bypass all attempts at thwarting your journey – as long as your heart is true.

The Holy Spirit will bless you with discernment, confess your sins to God; profess your willingness to accept Jesus Christ as your saviour, get baptized, pass the tests given after you are baptized (spiritual tests- as you WILL be tested), surround yourself with loving Christians and you won’t believe the miracles that guide your life through the grace of Christ’s love.

    • The stuff in the movie does indeed happen, in fact I have experienced a lot of it myself.  As the movie states find where such is happening and go to where ever it is.  Don’t go as a skeptic to disprove but rather hungry to see if these things really do take place.  Good place to start looking is Global Legacy churches.

      • >Don’t go as a skeptic to disprove but rather hungry to see if these things really

        >do take place.

Seriously? Go hoping to see something and be willing to have your beliefs confirmed through confirmation bias? That’s a recipe for self-delusion! Best to go as a skeptic and do everything you can to knock down the claims (which are, frankly, ridiculous). That way, if the evidence still stands, you’ll know you haven’t just seen what you wanted to see.

  13. It’s called………..MAGIC! optical illiustions…….like really? ……….they have it up their sleave, in their pockets, its all a show.

  16. The creator of this documentary seems to be omnipresent.. He’s at the site of a lot of miracles….

I must say that gems are probably the least important thing to an almighty god. If god were really to perform miracles on earth at this point it would be more along the lines of purifying our water or restoring our soil or endowing us with wisdom… not trinkets.

Fun idea though and a nice first attempt at a documentary. Keep going and trying and eventually you’ll be able to fool us.

    • Read the Bible…that new perfect earth idea is on it’s way.  Already done by Gods view of Time.  No need to do it now just for you.  Also, read the Bible about reaping what you sow.  It’s mans problem…man should fix it.

      • God made imperfect man – it’s his problem, especially since he’s supposed to be omniscient and omnipotent. My 2-year-old soils his diapers but my brother doesn’t say – that’s his problem, he should change his own diaper. If he did, he’d have his son taken away for neglect and possibly go to jail. How much more so for a god who doesn’t take care of his children?

Reading the Bible doesn’t tell you anything any more than reading Harry Potter tells us anything about the world.

  17. I am a follower of Jesus but not a participant of organized religion (anymore).  I spent 30 years involved in institutional churchianity and was also part of movements like the Toronto Blessing where a lot of these crazy manifestations/miracles were popularized.  I agree with commentator who said that the videos claims are substantiated mostly through the argument, “why would they lie?”  The fact is, a lot of folks DO LIE.  I know of one church where the phenomenon of gems falling from the sky and appearing in worship services was proved to be a hoax!  The pastor was actually planting the gems in-between services and was caught on film.  When questioned why he did it, he claimed he was “seeding the anointing” and that by planting gems he was “building faith” so that the real thing could happen.

I’ve been involved in churches that welcomed these kinds of phenomenon, but the real phenomenon was how much money it brought it.  I literally watched people in “spiritual drunken” frenzies throwing their wallets in the air at offering time.

I’ve been in these churches where supernatural phenomenon is constantly talked about, while there remain hurting and impoverished people in the fellowship… while pastor drives a cadilac, the wife a sports car, and the other pastors in the organization have been exposed for sexual misconduct… even one pastor who was having sex with a visiting prophetess.  These men speak well behind the pulpit and most of my friends didn’t believe me when I started sharing my concerns about what I was seeing behind closed doors (as I rubbed shoulders with some of these men).  There is deception going on.

All that having been said, I still believe in Jesus and I still believe in genuine miracles… but I don’t believe that hundreds are being raised from the dead.  Also, so many of the groups and ministers that are reporting this kind of thing are in the money themselves.  Even the makers of The Finger of God, don’t want to give the testimony away.  Jesus talked about the miracles that would accompany those that believe on His name and then He said, “FREELY you have received, now FREELY GIVE.”  But these groups are making millioins off the subject.  I believe they are frauds.

One minister claimed on television that he had video footage of a man being raised from the dead in one of his meetings…  But you could only buy it from his website for $30 bucks.  Tell me, what person in their right mind who had witnessed God raise a soul from death to life would immediately go out and seek to profit by it?  Would you not fall to your face in trembling awe of the miraculous power of God?  Would you not want to give it away to everyone you met?

I went to a church that claimed to have gold fillings manifesting.  Lots of people claimed to experience the miracles and news spread around…  However, when you talked to these people weeks later, after they had been to their dentists, they discovered that they already had those fillings and they were put their by their dentist and only forgotten about.

Aside from all the stupidity and hype, I believe there is also deception going on… Both by religious leaders and by spiritual forces.  I think people should get back to the basics of the Christian faith.  Discover who Jesus really is and follow Him.  The Bible itself says that Gospel is the power of God unto salvation… not gold fillings or gems.  The real miracle is when faith moves the heart to reach out to God and realize that God forgives our sins.  The fact that Jesus gave His life to save sinners from the hell they deserve is the best news there is.  God is love and He will not cast out any who turn to Him.  Who gives a crap about gems from the sky or gold fillings?  I certainly don’t!  I went down that road before and it was utterly fruitless.

    •  This morning was reminded, by a note in a bible made in ’03, of the importance of many of your points. It was, “service in secret cuts off the fangs of the flesh”. Also listened to a David Wilkerson video ‘Friendship with the Holy Spirit’ and he mentioned “we are no match for our flesh” and  Shelley Hundley in her powerful book, “Cry for Justice”, says a very similar thing, “greater than physical healing s and raising the dead is the life victorious over the inner battles of the flesh. However , I too believe we will see many miraculous healings etc. in the near future

  18. nonsense…if you believe it grows like a seed in you; you recognize it and you follow your way to God, this can be via any religion…God is greater than we can imagine and he is everywhere…everybody is thinking oh my religion is the one…no no no….they are all connected with eachother…what does connect them…indeed…open your eyes and don’t be the wise guy thinking you know, just because you saw a youtube film or a blog and so on.
faith is much less complicated…it starts with love and you learn to see love day by day if you open your eyes…the highest and purest from of love is between God and yourself..this is a hard ride but once your there, everything makes sence, even without a miracle…just common sence

  20. The best stuff is towards the end – the footage from Africa and the Gypsy hoods where love was emphasized was far more valuable than the footage from America. Love transforms seems to be the bottom line, and I don’t think anyone can argue with that.

  21. The best stuff is towards the end – the footage from Africa and the Gypsy hoods where love was emphasized was far more valuable than the footage from America. Love transforms seems to be the bottom line, and I don’t think anyone can argue with that.

  22. Why would an almighty source produce what only humanity deems “precious” things? Why gems? Why gold? To any other entity, these things are mere shiny objects. Also, that manna looks like oyster crackers.

  23. I don’t think this documentary was made to convince nonbelievers that God exists. If anyone simply watches this video and either finds it inexplicable because of its truth or entirely explainable because of its falsity, then he loses what I found to be the greatest value in this documentary—which is its power to stimulate question. We can doubt and believe, but when we ask questions, why wouldn’t we go further and answer them? Why would we explain that asking “Why would they lie?” is not scientific proof and yet not search for the answer to that very question, “Why would they lie?” It’s not as though motive is a part of an investigation that should be overlooked. Personally, I find its lack of hard evidence to be irrelevant. Ever hear the phrase, “the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence?” This doesn’t mean that I believe every word because I watched the documentary. I would not advise that anyone entirely base their beliefs or opinions on this video, but would instead use it as a stimulus to prove to themselves what they believe. And really, you can’t blame the guy. What would you do if some perfectly sane-seeming relatives suddenly started telling you that gold teeth popped into their mouths? I would hope that your reaction would not be to say they’re crazy and call it a day.

    • That was by far the best comment and response to this video I have read… and I read quite a few. Super impressed by the maturity in those words and the wisdom. Incredible.

  24. I walked into my dentist the other day and announced that my invisible friend gave me some gold teeth and and he speaks to me but when he does no one else can hear him, then some nice men with a white truck with flashing lights turned up and dressed me in a warm, wrap around white jacket.

I think I’ll make a documentary about it because I am no psychotic or anything.

  25. That is such an ideal helpful useful resource that you just’re providing and also you give it away for free. I like seeing websites that understand the worth of providing a high quality helpful useful resource for free. It?s the outdated what goes around comes spherical routine. Did you acquired lots of hyperlinks and I see numerous trackbacks?

  26. Utter nonsense. An insult to intelligence.

  27. I watched this video and I have a couple comments to make. First of all I don’t exactly disagree with previous comments left here for this documentary; this wasn’t based on scientific fact. But I do think it’s worth watching for a couple reasons. First off as Christians we are called to live a life of power for Him and it is important that believers, and people who think they are living an active life of faith, come to the understanding that it is our responsibility to share the good news–yes, but to love and to let God’s Holy Spirit come through us to heal and do all kinds of miracles in Jesus’ name. To DO something, not just say it or think we believe it. I was a bit skeptical too about the golden teeth and 50 karat jewels and such (I mean, really??) but who am I, with my limited human mind, to say God couldn’t do theses things if He wanted to? With God all things ARE indeed possible and I found this documentary to be moving. I’d give it 7.5/10 stars.

  28. Thank you for posting this great article. Visit my own!

  29. Something I noticed about this video is that claims are substantiated mostly through “Why would they lie?” statements, and simple scientific processes were never introduced, discussed or apparently considered as a method of discerning truth or obtaining further evidence.

For example: Gold teeth? Personal testimony only – no corroboration via dental records, a dentist or any such thing.

Mana curing a boy? No medical records, no diagnosed illness or recognized health failure – simply a “he lost his equilibrium after complaining he wasn’t thinking right” followed by being released a few hours later unharmed from the hospital. The fact that he was fed a piece of “mana” during that time somehow transforms the hospital release into a miracle. Also, mana is not inspected by anyone to determine makeup or source – not even given a second look, really.

Gems? Falling from sky? Well, of course the camera is not present when they fall, that’s totally forgivable. But no jeweler, geologist, or appropriately educated person whatsoever is called on for proper identification. They say they’re “not even sure what they are” as if it’s a mystery that nothing can be done about.

Personal testimony is not evidence. Also, I particularly like the statement that when Jesus claimed that his followers will work greater miracles than his own he was “Either telling truth or lying. It’s that simple.”

As a matter of fact, it certainly is.

  30. This would have been a much more interesting documentary if it wasn’t presented from the standpoint of a believer. Honestly, I feel like this is all smoke and mirrors – there’s no critical research as to how/why these events are happening.
