Energy independence. Two words that became very important in the U.S. politics. For years now, the United States has tried to lower its dependence on foreign oil for its energy needs.
With stability in the Middle East in question, drilling at home has never been more attractive, but it often comes at a cost.

Natural gas extraction – fracking – is being touted as the answer. The way fracking is taking place, there are questions being asked about the process and its implications.
People have been aware for decades that the rock formation known as the Marcellus Shale has natural gas trapped inside it. But it took professor Terry Engelder to figure out how much was there. And what he found shocked everyone.

Yes, Muslims are scared of the u.s.a. leaving the middle east, ending a 70 year pillaging of natural resources in a foreign nation. The u.s.a. will then begin a 100 year pillaging of its own backyard with wanton disregard for the civilians living on the land, just like we have done to the middle east for so long. Yes, the Muslims must be terrified…….. No but seriously, your logic is retarded.

Around minute 15:00, over a billion dollars was invested into green jobs, they all went bankrupt. Wind energy heats up the ground below it by an average of 1 degree per year, it doesn’t sound like much, but it actually destroys the environment worse than oil. When presenting an entirely new way of creating energy, it would be foolish and naive to jump head first into it, as if it is the savior of humanity. We need to be careful and precise, it took over 100 years of trial and error to get to the safety standards we even have today with the energy sources we use currently. Stop expecting an instant fix you wacko’s.

Property rights are the foundation of all rights

We must stop special interests from violating property rights and
literally driving families from their homes, farms and ranches. We also
face another danger in regulatory takings: Through excess regulation,
    governments deprive property owners of
significant value and use of their properties–all without paying “just
    compensation.”
