Growing Pains of a Teenage Genius

Cameron Thompson is only 13 and he has been a maths genius for as long as he can remember. At aged 10 he sat an online maths test getting every question right, at age 11 he managed to rattle through two GCSE exams in maths and additional maths getting top marks and that same year he passed his A levels with flying colours.

Cameron’s passion for maths however has meant that other “normal” childhood pursuits have taken a back seat whilst being brilliant at maths has become his entire identity. But now for the first time he is no longer getting 100%, he’s in the middle of an Open University degree and it seems as though he is struggling and he has just been told that he has Aspergers Syndrome. This film follows Cameron on his quest for high achievement.
