I Want The Earth (plus 5%)

The sole purpose of this story is to explain the simple maths of reality and the current Banking System – that is – 100 plus NOTHING does NOT equal 105 – and that charging interest on something that is created out of nothing, makes it impossible to repay, giving great power to those who do create money out of nothing – ie the Banks. This story was written by Larry Hannigan in 1971 and uses a fictional character (Fabian) in the narrative.

Money is NOT a commodity, it is a system of debit-credit bookkeeping – nothing more. Banks create credit. It is a mistake to suppose that bank credit is created to any extent by the payment of money into the banks. A loan made by a bank is a clear addition to the amount of money in the community.
The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the People v. The Banks.

None of our problems will disappear until we correct the creation, supply and circulation of money. Once the money problem is solved, everything else will fall into place.

  1. I can’t believe people will follow this crap rather than take the time to go through a basic economics textbook and use a little common sense. But that would take some mental effort I guess – something that would prevent ignorant movies like this from being made.

  2.  Proverbs 22:7The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.

  3. the money masters by bill still is much better!

  4. At last one documentary on the money system comprehensible at first sight.

  5. Watched this film the other day and felt so incredibly smart following  LoL .. simple as a children’s book-type explanation on the current crap financial system   ..two thumbs up

  6. How do fix the system again. If we go back to trading goods and services would society collapse ? I think we all have now that every day what we do is for money but money in really doest exist. it’s just paper isn’t that sad?

Is there a political way out of this ? Probably not the sad and awful truth is that if we ever decided to fight the system, the system will fight back with police and army. There will be a lot of violence.

    •  Watch a lecture by Jeremy Rifkin called “The third industrial revolution” and you will see there is hope. New technologies are going to distrubute the power in the world more evenly and this is going to be a graducal process since it’s an emergent phenomenon.
