Iranium

Iran’s nuclear program presents a threat to international stability. Yet successive American administrations-Republican and Democratic alike-have misread the intentions and actions of the Iranian regime.

How dangerous is a nuclear Iran, even if it never detonates a weapon? What are the guiding principles of the Iranian leadership? To what lengths would the regime go to carry out its agenda? How far have Iran’s leaders already gone to fund the world’s most powerful terrorist organizations? And why have American leaders failed to gain the upper hand in relations with Iran during the past 30 years?

In approximately 60 minutes, Iranium powerfully reports on the many aspects of the threat America and the world now faces using rarely-before seen footage of Iranian leaders, and interviews with 25 leading politicians, Iranian dissidents, and experts on: Middle East policy, terrorism, and nuclear proliferation.

  • Iranium documents the development of Iran’s nuclear threat, beginning with the Islamic Revolution of 1979 and the ideology installed by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini.
  • Iranium tracks Iran’s use of terror as a tool of policy, beginning with the 444 day seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, through Iran’s insurgent actions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
  • Iranium details the brutal nature of the Iranian regime to its own citizens, and the Iranian people’s desire to rejoin the international community.
  • Iranium outlines the various scenarios the greater Middle East and the Western world may face should Iran cross the nuclear threshold.

    Lovely…another thing to worry about…

      sorry to be sarcastic (above)…

I watched this, and immediately felt fear. I guess I can thank our government and the money hungry war mongers that have invaded the middle east for oil, control…$$$$.

I begin to think that if America does get attacked by Iran, so many innocent people will be hurt and/or killed, and then I realize, that is exactly what has happened when the good old USA started the war in Iraq…innocent people suffer…and are killed..

This makes me sad and ashamed…

    • AnarchoRationalist

Yes, what is this nonsense about Iran “threatening international stability”? How would Iran having nuclear weapons be any more dangerous than Pakistan, or India, or America having nuclear weapons? If anything, having a nuclear arsenal means that they are less likely to be attacked, or attack others.

      It’s a joke.

      • Johnny

You hit the nail on the head right there.

Merely the possibility of Iran developing nuclear weapons with no evidence to support it is deemed a serious threat to American, Israeli and/or world security.

A few years back when the U.S and Israeli media and government’s were seriously discussing using tactical nuclear weapons against Iran was that considered a threat to anyone’s security?

I guess the Iranian government had no right to consider that to be a threat to their security and take measures to insure against it.

Since then all we’ve heard about is Iran trying to develop nukes. Gee, I wonder why they would want insurance to prevent terrorist states from attacking them with nuclear weapons???

And yeah, the U.S and Israel are terrorist states with the U.S being the only nation in history to actually use nuclear weapons in warfare, there’s gotta be at least a few million people around the world today who can testify to being terrorized by them first hand.

And if bodies can testify to it there is an almost unlimited supply, pick a country and you’re bound to dig up at least a few ‘made in U.S.A’.

Not to excuse Canada, Britain, Australia, Germany, France, and all the other ‘allied nations’ that are involved in it all too, but they’re just playing follow the leader with the U.S and Israel being setting the tone for them.

What a propaganda movie! You must really be a retard to believe all this! Exactly the same as proceded to the war in Iraq. Oh Sadam has WMD’s , he’s working with al-qaida. And the war in Afghanistan. Oh al-qaida has all these very complex underground military bases! They never found any of this! Does this mean all those middle eastern countries have a nice government? No ofcourse not. But think about it..will war with Iran solve all the problems?

  • hellsyea

I love how they conveniently leave out the fact that the reason Iran doesn’t like the US is because the US assassinated Iran’s democratically elected Prime Minister Mossadegh in 1953 so that Britain could keep taking 90% of the profits from Iran’s oil. That’s why they’re not too fond of America, it’s not because we’re “infidels” or they “hate our freedom”.

This war with Iran is going to happen whether we like it or not. You know why? Because we have no control over it. They’re gonna keep spewing this bullshit through the media about how Iran has WMDs and they helped fund 9/11 and the masses are gonna be too stupid to realize that they just fell for the exact same rhetoric back in 2003

  • Ramus

Like Hellsyea mentioned America installed the Sha by assassinating Mosedegh. America, although complains about terrorism, is one of the most terrorist nations on the planet. If you went round to your neighbour to kill his wife, steal his money and tell them how they should live their lives, would you be surprised if your neighbour hated you?
Also note how many Jews there are in this doc.
The message to America is – you reap what you sow.

I would rather watch a documentary detailing Israel’s hundreds of illegal nuclear weapons and how they are the cause of the nuclear arms race in the region which Iran is now part of, and how it is Israel’s actions as the dominant military power in the region that ‘set the tone’ for Iran and other neighboring nations.

Although I can’t recall the name of it there is a very insightful documentary I saw about a year ago that was all about traveling around Israel and asking Israeli’s what they thought of their American brethren.

It’s amazing how similar many of the Jewish reactions were to the usual Arab/Muslim reactions I see, there sure is not much love for their American bank-accounts, err I mean brethren.

Ironic though that so many Israeli’s hate America given the fact most of the rest of the world hates America because of its “friendship” with those very Israeli’s.

Then again most evangelical Christians support Israel right now only because they want the Israeli’s to be almost entirely exterminated later on, as required in the initiation of their biblical Armageddon. So they are working very hard to get Jews to Israel so that those Jews can likely die.

And stirring up trouble in the region isn’t a bad way to get the apocalyptic ball rolling…

Any extremism is bad but when Judeo-Christian extremism and Islamic extremism combine shit gets fudged up beyond belief.

    • The Chosen One

Correct Israel has nuclear weapons but they are not the ones constantly raving on about how they want to wipe Iran off the face of the planet. They are entitled to protect themselves from the backwards middle eastern bloodthirsty animals! And….and I repeat And, where in the WORLD are all those bodies of women and children that Israel is constantly being accused of murdering???????? Looking forward to the annihilation of all you jew haters!

  • Johnny

It won’t be long now before America and Israel are “forced” to attack Iran to defend themselves from the immense threat that Iran poses to their global military domination and political hegemony.

If they are even half as much of a threat as Iraq was then that means they could have the capability to completely and totally annihilate 5, maybe 6 Abram’s tanks and a couple of Blackhawk’s or Apache’s, and the amount of shit they could talk would just completely decimate the global American Empire.

A threat like that can’t be allowed to go unchecked. And the international bodies appointed to do that checking aren’t good enough because they can’t find the evidence that America knows exists to show that their attack will be justified.

But they know the evidence is there somewhere, maybe in the North, South, East or West or maybe even in the Southwest or the Northeast since those Iraniums are tricky buggers.

They will find it when they attack, and if they don’t find it then who cares cause the war is really about the liberation of Iran and the bringing of ‘true’ Americanized democracy and equal/women’s rights and all that jazz anyways…

“You spin me right round baby, right round…”

Both our government’s and the corporate media these days should have to come with disclaimers stating:

“Warning – Incessant spinning can cause dizziness and nausea with intermittent periods of paranoid delusions”

    • Johnny

Oops, forgot to mention the news story flash I just caught the end of about a couple of Iranian ships doing maneuvers that are demonstrating how ‘aggressive’ Iran is being right now.

Hence, ‘it won’t be long now’…

      *sigh*

“Iran’s nuclear program presents a threat to international stability.”

    o rly?

tbh, i’m more scared of America.

  • http://orwellwasright.wordpress.com/ Andy

So Iran’s the “threat” whereas the US – which has killed literally millions either with it’s own military or proxy puppet dictators – is the responsible party trying to solve the world’s problems?

    Priceless!

  • Please…

More American/Israeli propaganda. The only threat a nuclear Iran would be is to the Americans or Israeli’s to bomb/invade it at will.

  • Joe Kizanu

If you notice at the very begining – this ‘documentary’ is funded by the Clarion Fund

    http://www.radicalislam.org/content/about-clarion-fund

So it doesn’t seem very impartial at all. That being said, I do beleive Iran posses a threat to security in the region. But films and organizations like this one do a great disservice to understanding such issues.

  • fwefwqe

Another “cookie-cutter” documentary, bleeding propaganda about the Middle East. yawn..

  • fuckgreece

Iran poses a threat, yet the Jews next door are armed to the teeth with Nuclear Warheads and killing and butchering women and children daily. What a load of shit. Keep eating your grass and be good sheep

  • Reasoning

question is. why post this at all, besides the obvious of being one sided, the facts are just wrong. This is just more or less someones views on iran tagged as a  “documentary”. the funny thing is, it’s obvious propaganda type presenting style does just the opposite of what it was set out to do.

  • Anthony
