Legend of the Crystal Skulls

Skulls are humanity’s foremost symbol of death, and a powerful icon in the visual vocabularies of cultures all over the globe. Thirteen crystal skulls of apparently ancient origin have been found in parts of Mexico, Central America and South America, comprising one of the most fascinating subjects of 20th Century archaeology.

This documentary takes a look at the history of all four known skulls and discover their age and origin. We discover how each was found, who it was owned by and passed to over the last hundred years.

The two most famous of these skulls, originally misidentified as Aztec, and for years shown in the British Museum and the Musée de l’Homme in Paris, have long been known to owe their provenance to nothing more exotic than a French antiquities dealer called Eugène Boban. But this has not stopped the gurus of nonsense from making preposterous claims for similar artefacts. There are, they will tell you, 13 of them and one day they will meet and reveal, talking head to talking head, the secrets of the Universe.

  10. I don’t approve of the narrator constantly labelling these skulls ‘fake’. Fake what? They are in the shape of skulls, so they’re not fake shape; they’re real quartz so they’re not fake quartz… It was a very one-sided documentary – not as well done as I’d hoped.

    • I think they’re called “fake” because they find “modern” machine marks on them, like marks from high-speed drills.  But now researchers have found similar marks in and around the Great Pyramid at Giza….

We still have much to learn about our own past.

  17. Anybody see the new Indiana Jones lol

    • dude it takes like 4 minutes to download the web player, dont say fuck veoh just because your too damn lazy to download the web player

      • ROFL you ignorant fool. Deciding not to download random software is hardly “lazy”. Bloatware like this junk makes computers slow and fills the internet with useless junk. They should stick to the industry standards and use the video streaming functions already used – not just create more. Find something useful to comment on.

  18. stupid preview only! time waster!

  19. This is good info! Where else can if ind out more?? Who runs this joint too? Keep up the good work 🙂

  20. GARBAGE LINK, DO NOT WATCH!

This is just a 5 min preview, and you can’t even watch the full length video without downloading “Veoh Video Compass”. I call shenanigans. Thanks but no thanks, I’m not running some unknown .exe from some crappy website just to watch a steaming video. This is web design failure of the highest caliber. I don’t need your adware and malware, thank you very much.

Documentary Heaven would be well advised to pick better sources to link to.

    • Deep breaths friend. I also have veoh installed, there were no issues and it allows me to view much more content otherwise unavailable. Reiterating the other comment, it isn’t this websites software, they are just linking you to content.

      namaste.

    • Chill man Veoh.com is not associated with us in anyway. It is though a very well known and trusted website it contains no adware, spyware etc. google it.

I run it on my computer and it gives me no trouble nor does it slow down my computer in anyway.

Veoh does not push this download on you nor do we. All we are doing is saying, here is a good documentary and this is where you can find it if you wish to watch it, if not no worries check out some of our other documentaries.

We are simply embedding this video as do may other websites.

      Cheers,

      -Danny
