Night Will Fall

Night Will Fall is a documentary that was originally shot by Alfred Hitchcock and Sidney Bernstein in 1945 just after the war ended, and it’s about the atrocities the victors discovered upon finding the Nazi death camps, which were scattered all across Europe. The original film was entitled “German Concentration Camps Factual Survey” and was never actually completed due to the fact that Bernstein was stonewalled by political authorities because some were becoming nervous of the growing Zionist movement and sought an ally in anti-Soviet German. Researchers only recently discovered the lost footage and now the project is finally seeing the light of day in the form of a remastered HBO film.

  1. I wanted to watch the documentary, not a trailer. What’s the deal?

  2. unbelievably sad.
horrific doesn’t even come close to describing what was done to people.
    by people.
watching this was painful. It filled my heart with sorrow, sadness, and despair.
Humans are so cruel, and we do not seem to learn from our mistakes. War after war after war.
    never ending death
