  1. If only the film makers kept out of this film and just let the subjects lead – hard to watch more than 5mins. Great line up but underwhelmed with the constant need of the film makers justifying how they were making this film. Maybe it got better 10mins in but for me, the tone was set early on and totally put me off.

  2. This film is well-done and well done. So what is the meaning of life? Deepak Chopra said it best….
“Live life in the present as best you can, learn and love.” It is as simple as that.

  3. I really like your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you design this website yourself or did you hire someone to do it for you? Plz reply as I’m looking to create my own blog and would like to find out where u got this from. thanks a lot

  4. Where did all you people watch this film?  This is only a 2 1/2 minute preview.

  5. i loved this film for what it is..  and therein lies the message, love what IS – not what something once was, or what something might/will be…    i found this film refreshing and wonderful.   like no other i have ever seen-  i loved it it’s uniqueness…  (as we are all unique as well)

  6. I loved this movie, love the questions, loved the focus on fear and suffering. Not to mention the focus on the Power of Love, that is inside of each of us. How God, is within us all the time, not in the clouds in the sky but in our hearts.
Reminds me that I love you because I first loved me…

    • Eager to see the movie it is with great truth revealers. If you didn’t get enough of it or are starving for more just type in youtube one of the names such as Deepak Chopra or Llewel Vaughan Lee and you will be able to watch a lot of free videos which they have on Love.

  8. WTF this documentary is more about making a documentary than about spiritual practice. they literally went around asking questions and instead of showing each interview it just jumps around and around. a few answers were great but it was mostly boring. Like i said they just threw in a bunch of shit with very little intelligent questions and wallah a film. LOL watch it if their aint nothin else to watch.

  11. There is No God but Man.

  12. Who is GOD ? What the Meaning of Life? Why we here ? looks like all of them are confused they have no idea, where is the the interview of a Muslim scholor ? oh yeh the sufi the shia but no Muslim(one who submit to the will of GOD) . For all these Question Answer is very simple in Quran.
Dr Bilal Philips lecture “who is your Lord” Google it you will find it.
Chapter 112 of Quran say there is nothing Like him, so by saying GOD is in every thing you make every thing GOD millions of gods and every god similar to individual own personality.
Quran says GOD controlls every thing. if human can controll robot remotly then why GOD have to be in every thing to controll , by saying GOD is in you and me you made GOD confide in a atom,
Meaning of Life is in Quran chapter 103 only few sentence , Quran Story tells When GOD created Human angles ask GOD this human gona make distruction n killing in world, GOD tells them you dont know what HE knows , then GOD teach human few names of things and ask angle to name them, they fail when GOD ask human to name them Human answer it.
Why we here” To submit to will of GOD in Peace”(that is meain of word ISLAM), world is trial for us just for few moments how can we live our life by following ISLAM . Learn, Call people towards Truth pay your duties, have Paitient and be humble ask Allah(words Allah Meaning= only to be worship) to Guide you.

    • but how was the movie? lol

    • To make sense of our surroundings and what we see, hear, touch, taste and sense we conceptualizes. Such as reality is like this and that not really knowing what reality really is. As we comprehend things we become comfortable with our own ideas and even become extreme in it. I think you, millions of religious people out there, see everything only through what you believe. Is the reality that simple?

    • The Quran is a book, a Muslim a person. I agree, they should have included a Muslim perspective upon such matters, no doubt. But again, the Quran is a book, [or spoken word] and nothing more. Read it, take what you can from it, then pick up the Torah, and do the same. When you’re done with the Quran, and the Torah, put them down and read the Bible, then the baghavad Gita, then read the lord of the rings, then put down the books take a breath, and realize that no matter what you call God, be it Allah, Krishna, Yahweh, God, Shiva Etc Etc, REALIZE THAT YOU CAN ARTICULATE THE TRUTH AND ONENESS IN COUNTLESS FORMS AND VARIATIONS, DON’T TAKE ANYONE’S WORD FOR MATTERS SUCH AS THESE, NOT THE BUDDHA’S, NOT JESUS’, NOT THE PROPHET MUHAMMED’ — taking these words as absolute truth does nothing but limit you, and the range of your experience. Life is a magnificent mystery and we’re all in it together.

      • *smile* Life  What is it? Why Live when Death is Envitable , Its Amazing those who belive  there is No GOD , Its like Denying your Own Exsistance, Its Like saying you have no Mother and Father, How about a Child who have never seen his parents when He Grows up  says there is no Father no Mother but he sees around him other people are born with the help of Parents , but He keeps goes on saying with his arrogans that there is no parents ,
Bigest athies says there are multipule universe infinite universes , so to track your Origin we have to go infinitnly, never ending , never gona reach to point of your Orgin , in other words you never gona reach to point of your exsistance which is NOW, if you can never reach the point of your ORGIN.
This is simple common logic among Most of human , only those atheis who have personal gurage against their creator.
A Muslim Knows there is nothing like Allah( GOD ) so worshiping any thing which He can think or imagin is not a GOD ,
other people have  made gods  which they see they get any befiits of then ,sun, moon, cow ,or Money
There is GOD and GOD have Given instrution to Human , those instruction is not any kind of words which is based on Lie or contradiction or made up of human thinking , Bible ,bagwat gita, tura , lord of the ring all of them have contradiction ,errors Lies,
Quran  is Word of GOD with out any any error dought

        • everyone is god, everyone is the devil, we are one within and there is no magic man or genie granting wishes…..once you come to terms with yourself and realize it doesnt matter what you believe we are all beautiful creatures capable of many things then only then you have found god!

        • everyone is god, everyone is the devil, we are one within and there is no magic man or genie granting wishes…..once you come to terms with yourself and realize it doesnt matter what you believe we are all beautiful creatures capable of many things then only then you have found god!

        • Did you know if you type God in capital letters six times, you grow a beard and wings and fly around chirping like a bird?  Fact.  Read it in a book that was titled “The Truth.”

  13. a great film. ultimately completed the original purpose for what started out as a ‘things to do now’ program by amateurs…..however, the focus of ONE is comparably brief and more towards the efforts of making the movie…..in short – it seems overly edited of the interviews..great work anyways and thanks for bringing it up.

  14. The 20 questions were:
Why is there poverty and suffering in the world?
What is the relationship between science and religion?
Why are so many people depressed?
What are we all afraid of?
    When is war justifiable?
How would God want us to respond to aggression and terrorism?
How does one obtain true peace?
What does it mean to live in the present moment?
    What is our greatest distraction?
Is current religion serving its purpose?
What happens to you after you die?
Describe heaven and how to get there?
What is the meaning of life?
    Describe God
What is the greatest quality humans possess?
What is it that prevents people from living to their full potential??
Non-verbally, by motion or gesture only, act out what you believe to be the current condition of the world.
What is your one wish for the world?
What is wisdom, and how do we gain it?
    Are we all One?

    • hi
because that’s how it is when one can have reasons to rich same or different reasons can be there to not to poor also its the frame of mind. or illusion you think it is poverty but actually the term is always related to money. imagine before the banking system or interest rates were in place there was no poverty. there was a wonderful system called barter, that means if i need oil i exchange it with rice, or i wanted cloth i will exchange it with something.
but my friend bigger question is what is poverty?
poverty is nothing but state of mind people with no money but what are they doing about it. and we have to pray to god about the situation, if they have food problem pray to god and mother earth to bless the land and if all us pray for them change will happen. I don’t know rains, new crop…but with change thought and consciousnesses we can make it happen.
i will tel you about an experiment if you think you are not powerful and prayers don’t work and the very existence of your thought. and your thought can bring the change or not. If you want to see and experience it.
write to me at [email protected] and be the change.

  15. Well worth watching IMO – it has a number of very thoughtful ideas with great interviewees

  16. This is not a bad film. But, I must say it is trite. Most of those interviewed, even those of supposed learning or education, simply parroted pleasant ‘isms’ as though they were expounding truth. Only two of the people interviewed got to the point and spoke the only real truth any of us will ever know: “…I don’t know.” Of course nobody likes that answer; so, they look for other answers that are more palatable and easy to digest. Even if that means supplanting reason and reality with conjecture, superstition or fantasy.

  17. this movie was more about them making the movie than the actual themes it sometimes explored. but some of it was great.

  18. ..just to add to my first comment, after watching it to the end, i must say the film does make an excellent point…! I still think it has a very dodgy beginning and as a film it could use a bit more clear structure, but the point makes it worth watching. thanx!

  19. 22 minutes into this, and i’m still waiting for it to start… this “film” is an interesting project, but it misses a huge oppertunity. namely, to become a good film..!

All the time its about the ‘couple a guys, makin’ the film, bla bla.. not about the subject itself. which is interesting enough to keep on watching for some time, but it’s too bad the makers didn’t get more help in the editing. way too much gibberish… missed chance, too bad.

  20. Can you please publish your list of question online, so everyone can answer them as an exercise to find themselves.

  21. I thought this was an excellent film!!! For a couple of guys that never before made a film-wow!!!! Great subject matter but also great ‘subjects’ too. I like the variety and, my question back at you guys is-and I think maybe even the real purpose of doing a project like this is, “What was this like for you and what did YOU get out of it”? So many times we work really hard on a project, esp. for “others”, when oftentimes the real purpose the learning, the stretching, the PROCESS is the journey and the destination…not just for others but ourselves especially!
    Great job!!!!
