Fascinating research in an informative doc which unfortunately only skims over the issue of patents and the apparent appropriation of knowledge from the years of painstaking research by Georgian scientists.
It has been said that 70% of deaths from bacterial infection are caused by antibiotic resistant strains. That stat is surely to climb until the FDA and the scientific community respond appropriately to the growing threat.
would be interesting to see an up to date doc on this. Seems insane that we are so attached to antibiotics in the west, plus the fact that they are over the counter in the states to the point that viruses are evolving to handle stronger and stronger antibiotics !! crazzy stuff
