  1. An absolutely amazing and courageous woman, selfless and giving. Please make a follow-up documentary so we can see how everything is for Mukhtaran today in 2020. It is also necessary for us to know what happened to the perpetrators. Were they rightfully punished?

    …..Why is her story any more important than any other woman’s who has been raped ?

    • just because this story has been highlighted, doesn’t take away from the seriousness of the countless rapes of other women. It only highlights the issue as a whole, of which she does a wonderful job! Are you trying to suggest that by getting more international media her experience as a whole was somehow “less important”? Some women cant or don’t want to report what has happened to them.
