These kinds of “documentaries”, and the people who blindly believe the magic “vitalism” theories within, are dangerous to themselves, and others.
Type I diabetes cannot be “cured” by simply eating a vegan, “raw” diet. And therefore, this documentary is quackery.
what about type 2 diabetes?
Great documentary. A raw vegan diet (preferably organic) can eliminate a host of illnesses. Another good one to watch on the subject is Food Matters. Raw vegan is the best way to stay healthy. We have learn to slowly rid ourselves of our addictions to cooked foods, which are poisonous to the system over time.
This seems to be the Paleolithic diet, the way we’re meant to eat. I go into my local supermarkets and come out with little or nothing because it’s all rubbish. I’m not diabetic but I am Insulin resistant. (precursor to type 2)

However, drugs are the third largest cause of death in America, and diabetics are required to take a lot of drugs.
In any case; did you watch this documentary? Have you researched the studies on this? In the vast majority of cases, diabetics are able to go off ALL their medicine in about 30 days, on top of experiencing better over-all health. It has been proven time and time again, in this case there really is no room for arguing.

Type 1 Diabetes is not caused by genetic defects. It’s a disease caused by an autoimmune reaction in the body that attacks the Beta cells in the pancreas and destroys them, so insulin stops being secreted. that generally occurs in childhood, but can in adulthood. Some cases are idiopathic (no proven cause) and its not completely clear why it happens, but you can only say some people have a genetic predisposition (certain percentage will develop it.) to this autoimmune reaction occuring in childhood. There are even cases when a viral infection causes the same effect in children.
So before you go calling people names, perhaps you’d have the decency to do some research. I hope whatever job you perform is away from people because you don’t seem to possess any insight into health medicine.
