Story of the Lost Nuke

February 13th 1950 was the dawn of the Cold War and off the west coast of Canada, U.S. bomber 075 is on a top secret mission. Deep inside the bomb bay weaponeer Ted Shire is arming a MK IV nuclear weapon when all of a sudden the mission goes terribly wrong. Without warning two of the bombers six engines erupt in flames, Shire does his best to secure the bomb but as they edge closer towards Canada’s restricted air space the crew make attempts to abandon the plane, it later crash lands. After word of the incident is received by those higher in command, the largest search mission in US Air Force history ensues, despite this the nuclear weapon remained lost, at least until now.
