Marc Dutroux (born 6 November 1956 in Brussels) is one of the sickest human beings ever born.
He is a Belgian criminal, convicted of having, in 1995 and 1996, kidnapped, tortured and sexually abused six girls, ranging in age from 8 to 19, four of whom died as a result.
He was also convicted of having killed a suspected former accomplice, Bernard Weinstein.
He was arrested in 1996 and has been in prison since then. His widely publicized trial took place in 2004. A number of shortcomings in the Dutroux investigation caused widespread discontent in Belgium with the country’s criminal justice system, and the ensuing scandal was one of the reasons for the reorganization of Belgium’s law enforcement agencies.
The Belgium governments failure to capture him nearly caused a revolution. Did the govt prevent his capture? Was there a cover up? Watch and decide for yourself.

Not at all… We need to learn from our mistakes this man is a monster, but it is not entirely his fault. Some parents torture there kids and do not allow them to understand what it is too be human. This man is not a person he is a shell he needs to understand that this world is beautiful and when all somebody expiriences is ugliness that is all they will want to express, he must learn what he did wrong and than help other people understand we can not torture each other like this(in prison). Are only danger is ourselves and unless we can work together in harmony well as they say “If it is from the dust that we rise, Than to the dust we shall return.”

absolutly not he most deffinatly a person hes not a dog hes intelligent enough to fool the police long enough to kill four or more girls hes a sexual predator yes but those cause and effect/ goal to completion methodology of thinking that makes him a murerer in the days of early homosapien this man wouldve survived but today he is unthinking and a pathetic animal i think not mike he simple needs to think more about his actions he knew damn well what he was doing and how he was going to do it he was 100% competant he simply im also asuming corrrect me if im wrong that your religous which makes me laugh bc the bible tells you to take yong wives and it tells you not to kill unless the person is different it tells you to love thy neighbor unless he is gay or of a different race or religion then its ok its religion that hurts the world way more than people like marc dutroux

Very good documentary. I`m from Belgium and remember this case quite good.
the whole country was outraged, angry and sad at the same time. I`m glad they talked about the major flaws in the investigation, like the locksmith hearing voices and the videotapes.

its all animal behavior really when you get down to the very grit of it its exactly like rugby or soccer or sprinting its a sport to release those inner feelings that he was feeling no it is not morally correct but in reality we all have a little bit of this inside ourselves we are all human and therefore we are all animals we just learned to behave
