This hard-to-describe movie, which combines talking-head documentary footage with a fictional narrative, attempts to explain quantum physics in terms most audiences can understand. Why is this cult propaganda in the science section?
This “documentary” is a disgusting mis-representation of some very real science. It takes everything out of context, and manipulates the facts to make it look like this silly new-age bull**** has scientific foundations – it does not, this is pseudo-science.
I was particularly irritated by the bit on the double-slit experiment, they make a very strong implication that it is human consciousness that affects the experiment, when it is not at all that. The observed behavior of light changes because the act of placing measuring instruments near the slits affects the whole set-up in a complicated way that interferes and allows us to see the “particle-nature” of light – the experiment is a very famous demonstration of light’s wave-particle duality, which is a very interesting instance in the world of science where two complementary theories (wave and particle) exist for the same phenomenon š
I really liked your response, if I may add that perhaps if you considered E=MC^2Ā more deeply and tried to understand the equation beyond its math implications. Its hard to really say that light moves at all. Suppose for a second that you are the particle of light being emitted, what would you see? Well at light speed there is no Mass, No Time and No Space.
I think you give less credit to the truths and metaphors behind human religious beliefs (im no taking literally here) and spiritual knowledge is not in conflict with science in the least.
I appreciate your view to the max and encourage everyone too keep an open mind an continue to come to your own conclusions based upon the most information that can be gathered on the subject. Do not forget that science can out of the pursuit of Philosophy.

This documentary is not fact based people. It is very misleading for regular people who don’t have a very deep understanding of the subjects presented in the movie. It starts out with quantum physics, in which it explains some facts and theories, but then goes to the realm of pseudo-science, claiming matter can be changed my thought, which is completely false and has no basis in fact or science. Please enjoy viewing this documentary, but don’t think it’s fact based.
Infact it does a have a claim in science….You cannot direct observe wave properties in quantum mechanics. All experiments must be done through indirect experimental results because human consciousness causes a collapse in the wave function.
