Over the last few years it has been clear to see that Britain’s weather has become quite a bit more extreme, especially the winter season. The winter of 2014 was the wettest on record, with deadly storms battering Britain for months, causing misery for millions with many costal towns seeing a dramatic increase in flooding and before this there was a run of cold winters, record breaking temperatures with bitter below’s of -22°C. Now there are big questions that everyone wants answered, why is our weather getting more extreme can we expect more of it in the future and has it got anything to do with climate change?
