They had lets say a 35mm film or whatever. The resolution on that is much higher than HD.
In any case, your “HD” is compressed digital video. Ah I don’t care – just ask around.

I felt so proud to be an American that I considered joining the military right now. Then it played the “Flag Day Radio Speech” by FDR and I remember how hypocritical American and her leaders were/are. Talks of freedom, brotherhood and liberation of the oppressed are used as propaganda to gain support for the war when US was still segregated.

The anti-war message in the end was pathetic and unnecessary. It is very disappointing and frustrating that they made such an excellent documentary and then just flushed it down the toilet in the end. Is that hard to make an impartial ending?
