Hailed as a groundbreaking feature length documentary, this 2014 film, Cowspiracy, takes a unique look at the environmental issues we humans are faced with today, exploring the impact animal agriculture has on the environment, and questions the policies of many environmental organizations on this issue.
Cowspiracy makes the claim that many of these organizations are failing to address the single most destructive force facing the planet today, such organizations include Greenpeace, Sierra Club, Surfrider Foundation, Rainforest Action Network, and many more. In a search for the real solution we are taken on the journey of an aspiring environmentalist, as he attempts to find a true path to sustainability.
Bull shit… what about manmade climat bullshit ?!
Climat is made by water, hamburgers too; billions of gallons of water that is wonderfully recycled by Earth !
Just evoking “climat change” is an insult to all intelligence; it’s Bull Shit !!!!!
while its a good doc, it ignores a few things: 1. animals that we raise dont naturally eat grain or soy, so we could cut that out , which are major water intensive 2. animals dont normally get a ‘flat plains’ like pasture to graze on, they go where they please(so which back to more tribal farming) 3. i agree animal agriculture is the problem, but the main problem is how we do it, not it in and of itself(i.e. cows have existed for longer(in some way, shape, or form) and they didnt destroy the world(their poo is actually essential for a healthy soil)
milk, wow he’s dumb, my father raises almost 2 gals of goat milk a week, with only 3 goats
doesn’t work
very good and logical documentary thanks for reminding me why i am vegan after a few years a was starting to listen to the dozens of people around me telling me i was the crazy one !
good for you, mate
even if you were crazy it wouldn’t undermine the truth of your position (ad hominem)
and, ironically, people who think it’s crazy to be veggie/vegan are the crazy ones
You are the crazy one.
even science has shown that, in general, herbivore humans have higher IQs than omnivores; if only for that reason, you ought to rephrase the ‘crazy’ part of the statement..
Ok – It is instead you who is the crazy one.
if that’s your type of answer, then it speaks for itself, & you’re afraid to look it up..
crazy for caring & actively doing something about the well being of other animals, the environment, and his own health.
the objective evidence proves you wrong i’m afraid, princess
