Having shocked a nation, the murder of Elaine O’Hara, 36, was one of Irelands most high profile cases in recent years and in this three part documentary series we learn how Graham Dwyer, 42, stabbed her to death in August 2012.
The killing itself was described as a ‘nearly perfect murder’ as it was presumed Elaine had taken her own life. If it wasn’t for an incredible series of coincidences the bizarre relationship between the two would have never been discovered.
Secrets of a Psychopath reveals the many coincidences, twists and turns, that occurred throughout the investigation, uncovering an obsessive and unconventional relationship which ultimately ended in tragedy. We witness how a psychopath managed to groom his trusting victim under the under the guise of extreme sadomasochistic practice and, more alarmingly, demonstrate the blood-lust obsessions of the killer as well as the level to which his victim was willing to acquiesce.
Disappointed that this documentary is not working
This is the only place where I’ve found all three parts to the doc,
Please fix would really like to see again
Thank you
I just heard about this case on True Crime Brewery. Wow, Elaine’s life was so terrible. In life, there is such competition, that those with problems have almost no chance. Who is worse than Graham Dwyer? What a predator. It must have been great to be there when he was arrested. I believe he had no inkling. The police waited until their case was complete before they confronted him. To me, it seems that is the perfect way to do it – they don’t need any cooperation from the perpetrator, he’s finished, even if he doesn’t realize it. (I love to hear the beautiful Irish accents in the documentary.)
thank you for this document. Never understand why people give bad reviews on documentaries
