Are they trying to take avant garde photos? I had to stop watching after the “10 rules of lomography” I love photography, this is my major, the lomo camera takes cool pictures but why are you making a commercialized camera into this thing that is portrayed in this video? I mean…… it all just seems way over-zealous.. and why would you even make “rules of lomography” if the last rule is ” ignore all these rules” …. yah.. cliché
you stopped watching in part one and comment? sounds like you are the one that gets stuck on the rules, considering they talk about much more than the rules in the docu, and when he say that they made the rules just for fun, being a few friends who wanted to do something…and what is avant garde about it? i doubt its the point of the movement and they dont mention the word once in the entire docu. pictures like this is popular as hell with holga, and hipstamatic on new phones. i dont get where youre going. its just to be free to take the pictures you want and do what you want, i mean what are people doing with digital shit now? taking crappy photos with phones, buying expensive SLR’s because they think their pictures get better by it, but still shooting on auto. this is an awesome snap-shot culture, cheap camera and everybody can join.
