With the cameras in hot pursuit, Derren faces his toughest project yet, going in search of an unsuspecting member of the British public prepared to adopt the guise of a pastor and miracle worker.

Sorry, but you actually have to be a cynic to actually be fooled by this documentary. Yes, not the faith healers, but this documentary. Though I do not endorse and agree with majority of the faith “healers” shown in this documentary, I have friends who had tumors fall out from their bodies… No one asked them to make any offering or donations. I have friends who had “incurable” diseases vanish overnight and the doctors don’t know what to make of it. And please don’t say it was placebo or some kind of hypnotism. Any known doctor or physician will actually think you are retarded if you claim placebo can make tumors fall off or replace entire bone tissue. Please be skeptical and find this out for yourself but don’t be a cynic and be ignorant.

Great documentry,Ionly wish those who it tries to reach out to would acually watch it,I burnt it to dvd but so far havent been able to convince christian family members to watch it,once they believe its against their faith they complete reject it, a family member actuall said when Derren asked the blinnd man [ I showed him a clip to try and get him to watch it], that the two fingers he held up looked like a cult sign,I was shocked.I’ve come to accept its easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a believer to accept he/shes getting duped.

It is easy to speak about ”religion” if you define it as you seem to- acceptance of pre-served beliefs about ”god”, holy spirit and powers, and about humans, on the basis of faith, and not rational inquiry. It is obvious to more and more people that this is mental&spiritual slavery. BUT. this is not ALL that different ppl mean by RELIGION. some people tye inseparably some concepts that more and more rational people affirm. like compassion, and seeing yourself within a big picture, being benevolent, things like that, see. So, i dont think you would like to remove these things (big picture, benevolence), for instance, from all aspects of life?
