A cinematic documentary from Chibi Moku about Wing Chun Kung Fu being introduced to the Philippines. Shot over a period of 2 weeks in Manila & Laguna. Featuring Sifu Steve McGowan & Sifu Robert Greene. Also featuring actor Raymond Bagatsing and the rest of the Golden Harvest team.
Wing Chun is a Chinese form of martial arts that has quite “unique” techniques and foundations. While wing chun can be found all over the world, including the Philippines, it’s a “creative rarity of forms” when passed through it’s different lineages.

I see a lot of hand chasing, and not much “real” activity in regards to the drills….thats fine if thats all you call it….but the way its portrayed here you would get owned by any brawler on the street or in a bar…
they should post a video about filipino martial arts “kali”
looks great, just hope you never try to use it in a fight lol
i don’t think anyone (relatively speaking) is going to watch this as it is presented now.
there is no indication what it is about, and the graphic just saying “wing chun” is particularly tempting to click, let alone commit an hour and a half to.
just some advice – you may want to pull the doc and repost it with a little more window dressing.
i’m surely it’s a lovely film and interesting subject matter.
