The Amazing World of Gravity

A fascinating hour long special that delves into the strange world of gravity, brought to you from the award-winning team that created the likes of Shock and Awe and Order and Disorder. Throughout the hour we gain some unexpected historical insights, witness cutting-edge science and exciting new experiments.

Like the other films mentioned above, The Amazing World of Gravity is hosted by the brilliant Professor Jim Al-Khalili. He brings us into the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) based in the United States, it is the place where gravitational waves were discovered and today they are hard at work attempting to uncover the secrets which lie behind the latest theories about our cosmos.

We also learn how Albert Einstein’s theories of special and general relativity work and how the rate at which you age is directly affected by gravity and the speed at which you move.
