While there is a lot more wrong than just the gold standard, it is definitely a start. The only problem I see is how you go about throwing away money until you get back down to the amount we have enough gold reserves to back. :-/ I have yet to hear a gold-standard supporter give a good explanation for that part.
too much drama. it will turn off 80% of your intended target audience. it’d be better to clearly state the aim, then make the argument.
This doc is actually a call for all Americans to sign a petition to reinstate the gold standard. This signed petition will be brought to the White House on Sept. 4.
This should prove to be an interesting event, if it gets the media’s attention.
