Well before actors Paul Newman and Robert Redford made them famous on screen, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid dazzled many Americans with tales of infamy spanning both coasts.  Their escapade’s took place primarily around the 1890’s, were by they robbed banks and trains throughout the West. After their crime spree these two seemingly vanished into thin air, becoming national news and the stuff of legends but who exactly Robert Leroy Parker and Harry Alonzo Longabaugh?
