Many children have become ill over the years but we also see residents defiantly returning to the exclusion zone which was once their home. Here they eat their own food which has been grown in highly radioactive soil. In this film we learn of how the government had been taking food from the area and selling it elsewhere even though it would have been contaminated by radiation.
