This is the incredible story of Alex Lewis, a husband and father of one who back in late 2013 came down with a dose of the common cold, this minor ailment swiftly took a turn for the worse developing into septicaemia and toxic shock syndrome, a condition which has less than a 3% survival rate but doctors were determined to save him.

This film follows Alex as he arrives back at his family home and readjusts to life after being permanently disfigured by the condition. We are witness to some of the raw moments that shape Alex’s life. Starting just days after he lost his last limb we join Alex on his journey as he attempts to find purpose in life and rebuilds his relationships, reinventing himself as a new man.
