It is said that Frank Mathews was richer than the “American Gangster” Frank Lucas, more powerful than the Mafia and in 1973 he managed to skip bail, dropping off the face of the earth with a staggering, 15 million dollars, never to have been seen again. Over 40 years have now passed since his disappearance and how Mathews managed to evade the law for so long long still remains a mystery.

In this film we see rare archival footage which includes interviews with several sources who have previously never spoken on camera and we get a glimpse into how Mathews became immersed into the life of crime as he did, before disappearing.
