Gordon Ramsay: Boiling Point

Boiling Point is a five part documentary miniseries which was released by Channel 4 back in 1999. It follows now celebrity chief Gordon Ramsay over the course of an eight month period, a period which could easily be described as the most intense months of his life as he ventured out on his own for the very first time and opened up his first restaurant in Royal Hospital Road in Chelsea in September 1998.

This restaurant would eventually earn him the highly prestigious three Michelin Star rating. We also get to see first hand his participation in the dinner made at the Palace of Versailles on 11 July 1998 to celebrate the closing of the 1998 World Cup.

This film was the first mass exposure of Gordon Ramsay to television audiences, it was with this that people seemed to fall in love with his highly driven, impatient and hot tempered personality.
