Music streaming service Spotify has started producing a documentary series called Landmark, the concept behind the series is to explore some of the more monumental moments in music history whilst catering to a new generation of listeners.

The focus of this installment to the series is the band known as Green Day, the films goes right back to the their beginning at Berkley’s Gilman Street venue in the late ’80s and takes us on a journey through the years stopping of at each key moment in time to reflect on achievements such as the release of platinum album Dookie in 1994.

Along the way we meet up with the band themselves and other such acts who cite Green Day as an influence of theirs, artists such as Ed Sheeran, All Time Low and more.
