13.8 billion years ago the universe was born through an event known as The Big Bang, it was at this point when all matter, all energy that will every exist burst into being within the space of a trillionth of a second. This was the mother of all explosions, spreading matter and energy out across the universe, it was the force of gravity which pulled this dust into dense clumps which eventually turn into shining stars.

It wasn’t until 4.5 billion years ago that our solar system was born, Earth is a place you would hardly recognise, with a surface temperature measuring in at a whopping 1800 degrees celsius. As things began to cool down and oceans condense the first signs of life appear.

This is the story of how that very first live managed to evolve into the likes of you and me, it is a fascinating tale with many twists and turns. Through powerful CGI and interviews with experts we are taken on this incredible journey.
