Kids with Guns: UK’s Army Cadet Force

VICE releases a new episode to their on going series “Rule Britannia”, the film follows United Kingdom’s Army Cadet Force to get an inside view of how the Army trains and recruits young kids to join the Cadets, that’s over 46,000 members, all of whom are within the ages of 12 to 18. The Cadets have about 1,700 detachments set up all around the country, with the main goal of training these kids, teaching them discipline and skill.

  1. I was a very involuntary member of BGS Melbourne, Aus. Cadets, and what we did was march all the fucking time. Harmless obedience and indoctrination training of blindly following inane orders in the hot sun.
    What damage has that ever done, historically, anyway?
