Killing Jimmy Hoffa

The disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa is one of the most famous and enduring American mysteries and it most certainly goes down in the history books as one of the great crimes of the century. Despite a huge Federal investigation which spanned over 4 decades and saw hundreds of suspects being questioned, still to this day only the contours of the crime are known.

Hoffa was considered to be both hero and villain; a self-made man who was head of the nation’s largest union, so beloved by the Teamsters he represented that they even supported him as union president whilst he was serving time in prison. His name is synonymous with corruption thanks to Bobby Kennedy’s campaign against him but the truth is far more complex than that.

Killing Jimmy Hoffa tells the story of his life and disappearance  the first time, using exclusive interviews, never before seen news footage and photographs, and revealing the real story of the day he died.
