With the ever growing number of sanctions being put on North Korea, the hermit country is becoming increasing cut off from the rest of the world. This film asks the question, how is it Kim Jong Un’s regime has managed to stay in power given the fact that the country is suffering financially from such sanctions. Using interviews with once high-ranking officials from within the leaderships inner circle and conducting an investigation in several countries reveal the internal workings of the secret state and the existence of previously unknown funds that only the supreme leader can freely use.
