From the makers of Noisey Chiraq, we are given a 10-part documentary series which gains unprecedented access to the world of Atlanta rap. In this film we see VICE reporter Thomas Morton and directer Andy Capper, catch up with artists such as 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug, Jeezy, and several upcoming stars.
The series takes us behind the scenes and into the grimy reality of Atlanta’s trap houses, bad neighbourhoods, problems but also the solutions that have inspired the wheelhouse behind one of America’s most vibrant and influential music scenes.
We also see interviews with the Atlanta Police Department, gang members, the ATL Twins and Curtis Snow in an attempt to accurately illustrate the complex and vibrant rap scene and what that culture means to the city.
