The Protocols of Zion is a 2005 documentary film by Marc Levin about a resurgence of antisemitism in the United States in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks. I think the important point that Levin would have been more successful at conveying is that of course not all Jews are the super rich conniving Jews that have shared the elite power and wealth with each other and played major roles in world changing events and fostered corruption at the highest levels of government. No, in my experience at least, most Jews are usually smart, friendly people with solid family values and good morals. Which I think is what he was trying to get at. I think it’s interesting that the question of who killed Jesus is asked in this documentary, but the entire problem is misdirected. For all intents and purposes, God killed Jesus. Jesus is, according to the New Testament, the “lamb of god”, the ultimate sacrifice for humanity. Through Jesus’ death, all sins are washed away from humanity. Jesus’ death and Jesus as a sacrifice is an integral part of christianity, actually one of the bearing ideas of the entire religion, but that seems to be forgotten.
