Through stories from nine community access (C@P) sites in the Halifax region, this documentary explores digital divides and the value and ever-changing potential of community access to the Internet and information technology. A video I produced last year. All footage is creative commons and I have the rights to publish this movie online

FILM ON FREE INTERNET CAP SITES STIFLED BY PROVINCE
A huge coup for any film maker, really. Extensive FOIPOP inquiries later, and we now know that “the state” did in fact engage in the very illegal act of film censure. I am humbled that our documentary was so engaging and so truthful that the state would take offence to it. Supported by over 200 pages FOIPOPd from civil servants who clearly had left their better judgement (and knowledge of censorship law) at home that day!
