Ronnie and Reggie Kray were the twins who became the undisputed bosses of East End gangland but were they born villains or did fate shape them for the role?
In this film we hear the definitive tale of how Britain’s most notorious criminals managed to gain such a ferocious reputation for extreme violence, emitting an aura of fear never before seen in Britain’s underworld.
The twins legend continues to be incredibly popular years on seen with their characters being portrayed by actor Tom Hardy in the recent film Legend.

I found this documentary fascinating. It’s crazy how the Kray twins managed to straddle the line between being terrifying gangsters and actual celebrities in 1960s London. I watched this last Thursday night while trying to unwind after a ridiculously stressful day at work. I had been battling with an old newspaper subscription and ended up hunting for a Daily Press phone number while eating cold takeout on my couch. The contrast between my boring domestic problems and their violent East End empire really put things in perspective.
