Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired

In 1977, Roman Polanski was arrested in Los Angeles on charges he gave drugs and had sex with a 13-year-old girl he was photographing for Vogue. Eleven months later, having pled guilty to one count, he fled to Europe before sentencing.

This film examines that year-long period, using archival footage of the media frenzy and of Polanski’s life before the charges, clips from his films, and contemporary interviews with many of the principles – attorneys, the victim, and Polanski’s friends and associates. Polanski remains enigmatic, but portraits emerge of the machinations of justice and of a judge more interested in his image than his word or the law.

  1. None of the facts presented here change the fact that Polanski has admitted sleeping with a girl under the age of 16, and admits liking “young woman” – yet he prefers not to specify how young. I don’t know if that makes him a paedophile. It does, however, unequivocally make him guilty of sex with a minor and he should have accepted responsibility for his actions.

  2. The victim in this “documentary” appears to be Polanski .
Some how I just don’t think so .
Is he or is he not a peadophile ?
Read his autobiography in which he admits he did indeed molest this young girl.
    A victim …??? Please !!!!

  3. Charles Manson could be with Polanski in the same room. Both of them Together talking why and what is the diferences about them…And why Polansky isn’t a rapist and peadophile?!!

  6. Roman Polanski, is a freak, good video too watch. Disturbing but good.

  7. When the prosecution agrees with Polanski’s defense attorney that Rittenband’s scheme is a sham, one wonders where in the world we can find such a circus act. I’d say, “Only in America!”

Rittenband reminds me of another farce of a judge, Judge Re (pronounced Ray) of New York, a total A-hole and every bit a loser as Rittenband.

My only question is, “Where’s Dr. Laura Schlessinger?” Somebody, please, send her this video. Instead of wasting her time calling black people the N-word on the radio, she might put her time to good use and learn what really happened before pronouncing Polanski guilty and painting him to be a low-life. If only Polanski had done the Republican thing, which is to talk about family values and hide your perversion, it would have been A-OK!

  8. brilliant!
