The Saturn V Story

In July 1969, Apollo 11 is go for launch after a decade of work NASA is less than four days from putting a man on the moon. but in 1961 when the President of the United States John F. Kennedy pledged to put a man on the moon NASA had little idea of how to achieve such a goal. It was one of the most audacious things the space agency has ever attempted in its history.

A new rocket was required to rise to the challenge but developing such a colossal machine would push Science and engineering to its limits and what they achieved is little short of remarkable, to this day the Saturn V is still the most powerful rocket ever built.

This documentary tells the incredible story of how NASA built the machine that flew man to the moon.
