EP1/6 Surviving the Cut – Ranger School

This first episode features the US Army Ranger School, which is considered to have the toughest combat course on the planet.

For sixty-one days and nights, this extreme training replicates the nonstop stress of warfare. Soldiers sleep an average of three hours a night and receive just one meal per day. They train continuously, running missions 20 hours straight in mountains, swamps and dense woodlands. Most lose 20 or more pounds before it’s over, and many quit or fail the course along the way.

Only one in three make it though.

  1. I have nothing but respect for the men and women of any branch of the Armed Forces.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but keep in mind, the reason you can have one and post it freely is because they have fought and died for your freedom.  Most of you haters out there would never give as much as they have for your country.  I’m Canadian, and I would still respect a member of the US forces as if they were my own.

  2. Gun meat, zero brains, just follow orders and die and become cripples for politics and oil money that goes to the politicians.

Show the guys who sit in wheelchairs and pissing in bags, show how the army doesn’t give a shit.

OH no, not fun to see that, no need to show the truth.

  3. Shows like these are great. They tell us how the best soldiers in the world are trained. Whatever country you’re from you have to respect your soldiers because they are willing to die for your country and its inhabitants. It is the same everywhere.

Personally I like to see what training elite soldiers need to become the best.
They should make some documentaries about the sayeret matkal and the spetsnaz to complete the picture!

  4. You people have no respect for those who have sacrificed so much so you can live a life a freedom. There is nothing sick about brave men and women wanting to defend this country, these people training for the special forces represent  the best America has to offer. If you want to bash our soldiers or disrespect our country, you can go ahead and take a bus to Mexico because I’m sure you will be wanting this “cult” around to protect you from robbers, murderers, and drug cartels. Semper Fi to all Marines out there…I can’t wait to join the few and the proud. HOORAH!!

  6. I”m sorry but this is sick. This isn’t so they survive, it’s so that they do whatever they are told without question. America is so lost.

  7. “Soldiers sleep an average of three hours a night and receive just one meal per day. They train continuously, running missions 20 hours straight”

Oh hey, those are exactly the brainwashing techniques used by cults. Which is exactly what the military is, and always has been, a cult preparing children for ritual sacrifice.

    It’s, just kind of sick.

    • just because were not scared to actually do something productive with our life doesnt make us brainwashed you shitbag….we learn how to be mentally strong and dedicated to our job instead of sitting at home worrying about what other people are doing you pathetic piece of shit
