For the past 6 months almost no western journalists have entered rebel held Northern Syria because of the risk of kidnap by the renegade Al Qaeda offshoot, The Islamic State.

In this film View News follows a coalition of former FSA brigades as they reimposed their rule over the country’s northwestern Idlib province. What is witnessed was a brief window into a complex and morally ambiguous conflict with no end in sight.
