The Theory of Special Relativity as part of the educational process: not for the sake of understanding the theory itself, but in using Einstein’s particular discovery as a case study to demonstrate and walk people through real human thinking. The presentation ends with reflecting on the principle of relativity in terms of social relations and individual identities or thought processes, asking the question –how was Einstein able to make his breakthrough?

How was Einstein able to make his breakthrough? Plagiarism! Paul Gerbet, Soldner, Hilbett, Lorentz all had been working of the ideas Einstein is famous for supposedly creating before Einstein published his work. Einstein even used Newton quote about standing on the shoulders of giants.
HOLLY SHIT THIS CHICK IS A FUCKING MONO TONED NUN!! She sounds fucking retarded . that is all. out
LaRouche is a nazi.
Are you fucking joking? This bitch is retarded. Giving credit about the American idea of all men created equal to the very same people who followed Hitler? Germans almost destroyed the world twice. They are of the mind they are better than anyone else. Which is precisely why they lost. Twice.
The narrator is absolutely horrible!
THIS IS BRILLIANT. NEVER SEEN ANYTHING AS INTELLIGENT, INSIGHTFUL OR ENGROSSING. THE BUDDHA SAID IT 2,500 YEARS AGO AND NOW PSYCHOLOGY, AND PARTICLE PHYSICS ARE FINALLY CATCHING UP. CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT INSTALLMENT. GUYS HOW RADICAL AN IDEA SPECIAL RELATIVITY = COMPASSION. BRING IT ON!
strange tone at beginning , wears its politics (liberal bs) on sleeve
Thank you Documentary Heaven for free education.
i tried my best to watch this documentary; but, about 50 minutes in, i just had to turn it off. unfortunately, and i know she has awesome intentions, but the presenter is not “camera friendly and a bit monotone and noncharasmatic” ..definitely, slow to watch… i did enjoy hearing about Einstein’s early life at the beginning…wish i could have watched it all ..but, it was painful
THE FACTS!!
Your all nerds…
Religions are man made and untrue …
Bully governments rule the world…
No body gives a shit about anyone other than themselves
CONCLUSION!!
We might as well stop working for a flawed system and just become alcoholics
and let the world burn to the ground…. at least the next generation of intelligent life will have a chance to blossom and hopefully do better than us fuck ups did…
You misspelled “you’re”.
In my mind this undermines your argument completely.
just leave this world and let us in peace idiot!
hallelujah
1900
– Max Planck and Wilhelm Wien of Germany develop the quantum theory which
Einstein plagiarized as his “Light Quantum” paper in 1905, citing
neither Planck nor Wien.
1901
– At age 22, after five years at Swiss Federal Polytechnic School, Einstein
graduated with the lowest grade point average in the class, became a Swiss
citizen, and got a job as technical assistant in the patent office.
1903
– Olinto de Pretto publishes E=mc^2 in Atte,
a scientific magazine known to be read by Einstein, which he later
claimed as his own work and which he failed to cite.
1904
– Friedrich Hasenohrl of Germany, citing J.J. Thomson of England and W.
Kaufmann of Sweden, publishes E=mc^2 in same journal as Einstein plagiariazes
as his own in 1905, failing to cite any of the three.
1905
– Philipp Eduard Anton von Lenard, whom Einstein’s wife studied under,
received a Nobel Prize for discovering the photo-electric effect, which
Einstein plagiarizes the SAME year has “his” paper, with no reference
to Lenard.
1905
– At age 26, while still at the patent office, he published 4 groundbreaking
essays in the field of theoretical physics and quantum mechanics in Annalen der
Physik, gaining him a Ph.D. from the University of Zurich.
1915
– November, 20 – David Hilbert presents his paper in Berlin, citing Marcel Grossmann,
including precisely the same field equations that Einstein presented as his own
5 days later (2 weeks after it was
known
that Einstein had a copy of Hilbert’s paper, but but Hilbert didn’t have a copy
of Einstein’s paper). Dingle repudiated the special theory of relativity in
1972.
1915
– November, 25 – Einstein presents his paper and publishes the General Theory
of Relativity based on the mathematics of Marcel Grossmann and Berhard Riemann,
first to develop a sound non-Euclidean geometry, which is the basis of all
mathematics used to describe relativity. Einstein failed to cite Grossman and Riemann.
1700
– Newton predicts the deflection of light around the sun, something Einstein
plagiarized as his 1911 prediction, without citing Newton.
1801
– Johann Georg von Soldner publishes his predictions which Einstein plagiarized
as he predictions 114 years later, not citing Soldner in “his” 1915
paper.
1827
– 78 years before Einstein gets credit for it, Robert Brown in Scotland
explains Brownian Movement.
1878
– James Maxwell in Scotland publishes Special Theory of Relativity in
Encyclopedia Britannica which Einstein publishes as his own in 1905 without
citing Maxwell.
1887
– Michelson-Morley experiment suggests there is no ether, an observation made
by Einstein in his 1905 papers, with no cites to Michelson or Morley.
1888
– Heinrich Hertz publishes his paper on the photoelectric effect, a paper which
Einstein failed to cite.
1889
– George Fitzgerald in Ireland publishes his paper about the theory of relativity,
a paper which Einstein failed to cite.
1892
– Hendrik Lorentz in the Netherlands publishes the Lorentz Transformations.
1895
– At age 16, Einstein fails simple entrance exam to engineering school in
Zurich.
1896
– At age 17, Einstein becomes a high school drop out, his German citizenship is
revoked, and he enrolls in the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich.
1898
– Paul Gerber in Germany published the exact equations in Annalen der Physik
(also in “Science of Mechanics”, a book that Einstein is known to
have studied) which Einstein published 17 years later in 1915 as his
“perihelion motion of Mercury”, in exactly the same journal, with no
cites to Gerber, claiming that he was “in the dark”, only to confess
under pressure to his crime in 1920.
1898
– Poincare in France wrote the paper on the theory of relativity, which never
mentions Einstein, which Einstein plagiarized as one of his 1905 papers without
citing Poincare.
MY GOODNESS YOU REALLY DON’T LIKE ALBERT DO YOU. I WONDER WHY THAT MIGHT BE? I’LL LEAVE THE DETAIL RESPONSE TO OTHERS AND JUST MAKE THE OBSERVATION THAT YOU SEEM TO HAVE COMPLETELY MISSED THE POINT. THE DOCO IS NOT ABOUT ALBERT OR HIS INTEGRITY IT’S ABOUT THE SOCIAL IMPLICATIONS OF SPECIAL RELATIVITY AND MATTERS NOT WHO CAME UP WITH THE IDEA. THE LIST OF ‘DEFRAUDED’ CONTRIBUTORS YOU CITE IE Max Planck, Wilhelm Wien, Olinto de Pretto, Friedrich Hasenohrl, Philipp Eduard Anton von Lenard, David Hilbert, Marcel Grossmann ,Berhard Riemann, Newton
Robert Brown, Johann Georg von Soldner, James Maxwell, Heinrich Hertz, George Fitzgerald, Hendrik Lorentz, Paul Gerber, and Poincare
PROVIDE A PRETTY IMPRESSIVE BODY OF POSSIBLE SUPPORTERS FOR THE PROPOSITION THE DOCO EXPLORES.
It would
take an essay to deal with all James’s misconceptions and oversimplifications,
but here are a few comments on the more straightforward ones to indicate how
unreliable his contentions are:

It
was in 1900, at age 21, that Einstein graduated from Zurich Polytechnic. Of the
five students in the class, the other three that obtained a diploma majored in
mathematics, so their grade average was not strictly comparable with
Einstein's, who majored in physics. In the intermediate diploma examinations in
1898, in which all five students took the same examinations, Einstein received
the highest grade average.
Thank you.

Max
Born ((11 December 1882 – 5 January 1970) was a German-British physicist and
mathematician
who was instrumental in the development of quantum
mechanics.)
On
page 193 of his 1956 book “Physics in
My Generation”, Pergamon Press, London, Max Born makes the following statement
“[Einstein’s] paper
‘Zur Elektrodynamik bewegter Koerper’ in Annalen der Physik. . . contains not a single reference
to previous literature. It gives you the impression of quite a new venture.
But that is, of course,
as I have tried to explain, not true.” — Max Born
“All this was
maintained by Poincare and others long before the time of Einstein, and one
does injustice to truth in
ascribing the discovery to him.” — Charles Nordmann
“In point of fact,
therefore, Poincare was not only the first to enunciate the principle, but he also discovered in
Lorentz’s work the necessary mathematical formulation of the principle. All this happened before
Einstein’s paper appeared.” — G. H. Keswani
“Einstein’s
explanation is a dimensional disguise for Lorentz’s. . . . Thus Einstein’s
theory is not a denial of, nor an
alternative for, that of Lorentz. It is only a duplicate and disguise for it. .
. .
Einstein continually
maintains that the theory of Lorentz is right, only he disagrees with his ‘interpretation.’ Is it
not clear, therefore, that in this, as in other cases, Einstein’s theory is merely
a disguise for Lorentz’s, the apparent disagreement about ‘interpretation’
being a matter
of words only?” —
James Mackaye
The unified field theory search is similar to an ant trying to figure out a computer. Infinite mathematical equations are part of the working of creation, and sub atomic particle waves, that flit in and out between eternity and time. It is impossible to get out of the fishbowl of time in material creation except by dying. Best expressed in the bible, flesh is flesh and spirit is spirit. Mathematics cannot quantify the spirit, it source is infinite in eternity. God is a real smarty.
just because we cannot understand now, doesn’t mean we will never understand
Someone make this into a professional documentary to be screened all over the world!!
What is ‘extraordinary’ is why people lack the discerning brainpower to ‘get the message’ of frank-Einstein as shown in the first on right clip photo: ‘you’re all idiots’. He was a failed physics student whose professor died after telling him he’d never amount to anything. Well, well, well, funny how the ‘chosen ones’ rise and THIS next to the superlative obvious genuis of TESLA. Einstein was a criminal, a thief and psychopath.
“He was a failed physics student…”
PavolvsBitch: Einstein never failed a physics (or mathematics) exam. In his high school leaving exam he obtained the maximum grade in physics (and three mathematical subjects). In the Zurich Polytechnic intermediate diploma exam he obtained the maximum grade 6 in mechanics and 5.5 in physics. In the final diploma exam he obtained 5 (scale 1-6) in both physics theory and practical and gained the diploma. The rest of what you write has the same level of inaccuracy.
Tesla, a scientist, gave credit to a Ruđer Bošković, a philosopher and member of Society of Jesus, for the theory of relativity.
Admiration of a philosopher for mathematical physics theory is a clear indication that Tesla was far outside of his element and/or expertise.
Few are able to discipline mathematics and physics effectively enough for scientific peer review. As both Einstein and Newton did obtain such peer review they are due credit appropriately; not a philosopher promoted with religious zealotry.
but was he incoherent?
?
im sorry but id bang the woman who is narrating this documentary she seems tense. but so far so good
good call
