The Ghostvillage Project was created over 3 days on the west coast of Scotland. 6 artists – Timid, Remi/Rough, System, Stormie Mills, Juice 126, Derm – were given free reign to paint in an abandoned 1970s village. Working together on huge collaborative walls and individually in hidden nooks and crannies all over the site the artists realised long held dreams and were inspired by the bleakness and remoteness of the site. Drawing on the history of the village the artists’ stated intent on completion of the project was to populate the ghostvillage with the art and characters that it deserved.

What a great new wave gallery. Graffiti art is special because it is made knowing it is ephemeral, but something like this reverses the notion of art and gallery. Here graffiti art is literally conserving an ephemeral gallery. Super cool!
that is just so kool hope yus do more love to see more
Yeah wicked little film … Be great to see it all just covered in pieces, tags and art every wall and space just painted. Keep me eye on that space ! Peace Love Art & Music is what makes us as a species evolve and hopefully for the better which gives me hope for humanity ! Peace to all ! <3 — d(*_*)b — <3
this movie is shit. shit directed. bad long shots of close ups of the most boring visual subject and pretentious art crap. the repeat themselves again and again about nothing. this should have been a magazine spread at most.. or a flicker foto group.
Those who cannot create, criticize!

Nice! Really liked this….wish it was a little longer, but the art was very abstract and interesting…
Certainly worth 10 minutes….
Amazing little documentary. And even more so, amazing art!!!
My only real complaint is that it was too short, would have loved to have seen more of the artwork that was created, and more about the artists involved.
Still though, SUPERB! 10/10.
