From the Producer:
“There’s No Place Like Home is documentary about my home city of
Bath, England. It follows me as I return home after three years
looking to find out if there is something special about the small city
of 80,000 people. I look at whether Bath, home to the likes of Ken
Loach, Peter Gabriel, Nicholas Cage and Jane Austen has an unusual
effect of inspiring its residents.
I joined two of the cities most prolific artists for the film, John
Eaves and Pete Brown to see how the buildings, the landscape and the
people have played a huge part in influencing their work.”
Bath is a very charming and special place. I’d like to visit again someday.
