VICE News travels to Nigeria, one of the wealthiest countries in Africa, in order to embed with their army which has recently been ramped up due to it’s fight against the militant Islamist group known as Boko Haram. This group has been wreaking havoc in Northern Nigeria since 2009, using bombings, abductions and beheadings to instil terror. This conflict with Boko Haram has caused a state of emergency throughout the country and with VICE being the only journalists on the frontline, though them we witness the beginning of the largest military insurgency to date.
