What role does the economic context play in all of this? Would Naziism have taken root in Europe if it hadn’t been for the economic depression of the 30’s? Similarly, how might the lack of economic opportunity today provide fertile soil for extremism to take root?

Can’t believe the movie tried to equate the fall of the berlin wall and the toppling of the Lenin statue with the toppling of the Saddam Hussain statue in Iraq! The imperialist invasion of Iraq was exactly the sort of thing the Muslim world hates the west for.

please do not judge Islam based on the actions of some Muslims. The fact that you say Islam is a perfect religion says that you think Islam is superior to my religion. This is where it begins. Your a couple steps away from radicalizing to force Islam on me and the world. This is the fundamental problem with Muslims. Just by the fact that the Muslim world hasnt contributed very much to the world is a sign of its short comings. You would still be riding donkeys and camels if not for the U.S and the west.
